Intermittent appointment definition

Intermittent appointment means an appointment to a position which requires performance on an irregular or "as needed" basis. This type of appointment is limited to 180 working days in a twelve (12) month period unless an exception is allowed in accordance with 31 IAC 2-7-4(c).
