Department of Personnel. Nothing contained herein shall limit or affect the rights and benefits of employees under N.J. Department of Personnel Law (formerly called Civil Service), rules and regulations or other laws, rules or regulations except to the extent that greater benefits are provided herein that are provided for under said laws, rules and regulations. Employees may, at their option, pursue remedies which are available pursuant to N.J. Department of Personnel laws, rules or regulations or other laws, rules or regulations. SECTION A. A grievance within the meaning of this agreement shall be any difference of opinion, controversy, of dispute arising between the employee covered by the terms of this agreement and the Township involving the interpretation and application of any provisions of this agreement. It is understood that the grievance procedure shall not include any matter dispute or controversy, or whatsoever kind, that is appealable to the N.J.

Department of Personnel. The purpose of the grievance procedure is to secure, at the lowest possible level, equitable solutions to the grievances, which may from time to time arise. Both parties agree that these proceedings will be kept as informal and confidential as may be appropriate at any level of the procedure.
Department of Personnel. A. The Fire Department shall attempt to maintain in effect current entrance and promotional lists through adopted Department of Personnel procedures. B. For the purpose of seniority, an employee's previous standing on entrance or promotional lists shall constitute seniority over other employees hired or promoted at the same time.
Department of Personnel. If any employee is absent for four (4) consecutive working days, or for more than ten (10) days in any one calendar year, for any of the reasons set forth herein, Employer shall require acceptable evidence on the form prescribed. The nature of the illness and length of time the employee will be absent shall be stated on the Doctor's certificate. Absence without notice for five (5) consecutive days shall constitute a resignation not in good standing.

Seniority shall prevail in all matters where a preference may be established as provided by New Jersey Department of Personnel Rules and Regulations.
Department of Personnel. The Clerical Unit and the Employer will establish a Joint Committee for the study of all titles covered under this contract to determine comparable worth. This committee will serve in an advisory capacity outside normal contract negotiations. The findings of this Committee will in no way cause any job title pay to be lowered.

  • Assignment of Personnel The Contractor shall not substitute any personnel for those specifically named in its proposal unless personnel with substantially equal or better qualifications and experience are provided, acceptable to County, as is evidenced in writing.

  • Review of Personnel Files Every member shall be allowed to review any of his/her personnel files except "confidential law enforcement records" and "trial preparation records" as defined in Ohio Revised Code Section 149.43 at any time, upon request and reasonable notice. Such request shall be made to the supervisor directly responsible for maintenance of such files. Review of the files shall be made in the presence of such supervisor or the supervisor's designated representative. For the Division master personnel file, the request shall be made to the member's Subdivision Deputy Chief or his/her designated representative. Any member, or the member's Lodge representative, may copy documents in the member's file. The City may levy a charge for such copying, which charge shall bear a reasonable relationship to actual costs. A member will be notified in writing any time records within his/her personnel, background, IAB, and/or payroll file(s) are requested, as a public records request pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 149.43, provided the City determines that the request is proper under applicable law. A member may request copies of any records provided under this paragraph, and these copies shall be provided at no cost to the member.

  • Review of Personnel File Upon written authority from an employee, OC shall permit the President of the Union or their designate to review that employee's personnel file in the office in which the file is normally kept in order to facilitate the proper investigation of a grievance.
