JAMS Streamlined Rules definition

JAMS Streamlined Rules has the meaning set forth in Section 7(a).
JAMS Streamlined Rules has the meaning set forth in Section 7.4.
JAMS Streamlined Rules in effect at the time of the arbitration shall govern the arbitration, except as they may be modified herein or by mutual written agreement of the Parties. The arbitration shall be held in (i) Chicago, Illinois or (ii) such other place as the Parties may mutually agree in writing. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties in writing, any Dispute to be decided pursuant to this Section 12.3 will be decided (x) before a sole arbitrator if the amount in dispute, inclusive of all claims and counterclaims, totals less than $10,000,000, or (y) by a panel of three (3) arbitrators if the amount in dispute, inclusive of all claims and counterclaims, totals $10,000,000 or more.

  • The arbitration shall be administered by JAMS in accordance with this document and the JAMS Streamlined Rules and Procedures for the Arbitration, with one addition: The limitation of one discovery deposition per side shall be applied by the arbitrator, unless it is determined, based on all relevant circumstances, that more depositions are warranted.

  • In such event, the other Party may commence and prosecute such arbitration unilaterally in accordance with the provisions of the JAMS Streamlined Rules.

  • In the event that the two (2) Party-appointed arbitrators fail to appoint the third (3rd), then the third (3rd) independent arbitrator will be appointed pursuant to the JAMS Streamlined Rules.

  • In such event, the other Party may commence and prosecute such arbitration unilaterally in accordance with the provisions of JAMS Comprehensive Rules or the JAMS Streamlined Rules, as applicable.

  • Any dispute or claim subject to arbitration pursuant to this Section 27 must be submitted to binding arbitration before a single arbitrator administered by JAMS pursuant to JAMS Streamlined Rules.

  • The arbitration will be conducted under the JAMS Streamlined Rules, except as modified or expanded by this provision.

  • M&A Rules means the Provisions on Merging and Acquiring Domestic Enterprises by Foreign Investors, which was promulgated by six Governmental Agencies, namely, the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the State Administration for Taxation, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (the “CSRC”), and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, on August 8, 2006 and became effective on September 8, 2006, as amended by the Ministry of Commerce on June 22, 2009.

  • Dispute Resolution Procedure means the procedure for resolving disputes as set out in Clause 17 (Dispute Resolution);

  • Alternative dispute resolution means mediation, arbitration, conciliation, or other nonjudicial procedure that involves a neutral party in the decisionmaking process.   • Dispute Resolution means the procedure set forth in this LGIP for resolution of a dispute between the Parties.

  • Auction Rules means the Mineral (Auction) Rules, 2015 and its subsequent amendments.
