Government costs, as used in this clause, means those agency costs that result directly from developing and implementing the VECP, such as any net increases in the cost of testing, operations, maintenance, and logistics support. The term does not include the normal administrative costs of processing the VECP or any increase in this contract’s cost or price resulting from negative instant contract savings.

Court of competent jurisdiction means a federal court, or a state court that entered an order in a child custody proceeding involving an Indian child, as long as the state court had proper subject matter jurisdiction in accordance with this chapter and the laws of that state, or a tribal court that had or has exclusive or concurrent jurisdiction pursuant to 25 U.S.C. Sec. 1911.
Labour Court means the Labour Court established by section 151 of the Labour Relations Act;
Violent juvenile felony means any of the delinquent acts enumerated in subsection B or C of
Detention facility means a county facility, paid for by the

Unit of government means a city, village, township, charter township, and any duly authorized and established combinations thereof, within or without the county establishing any of the improvements, facilities, or services authorized under this act.
Juvenile detention facility means any secure public or private facility used for the lawful custody of accused or adjudicated juvenile offenders that must not be a jail.
Court of Appeal means the division of the Supreme Court referred to in section 7(1)(b);
assessee means a person by whom any tax or any other sum of money is payable under this Act, and includes—
The Government means the Government of Karnataka State.
Pertinent Jurisdiction in relation to a company, means:
Violent felony means the same as that term is defined in Section 76-3-203.5.
Demurrage means charges payable for storage of cargo within port premises beyond free period, as specified in the scale of rates.
Improper governmental action means any action by a district officer or employee:
Host Government means a Government with which UNICEF has a programme of development cooperation, and includes a Government of a country in which UNICEF provides humanitarian assistance.
Detention hearing means a hearing held by a judge or trial commissioner within twenty-four (24) hours, exclusive of weekends and holidays, of the start of any period of detention prior to adjudication;
Judicial Authority means any court, arbitrator, special master, receiver, tribunal or similar body of any kind (including any Governmental Authority exercising judicial powers or functions of any kind).
