Licensed Instance definition

Licensed Instance means a specific public or private virtual computing environment owned by Licensee for which Licensee has paid the applicable deployment and use license fees required to authorize Licensee to deploy Applications on the specific virtual computing environment that is set forth in a distribution addendum to this License Agreement, any addendum or amendment to this License Agreement, or an Order. Deployment and use licenses for Licensed Instances are priced based on the type of platform, per product bundle or per module, and per virtual computing environment basis.

Licensed Instance means a specific individual public or private computing environment for which Licensee has paid the applicable deployment license fees required to authorize Licensee to deploy Applications on the instance. Licenses for Licensed Instances are priced on a term-based with specific rights and restrictions defined per product, per platform, per instance (e.g., type, architecture, vCPUs, vCores, cloud elasticity, containers, clusters, memory, and storage) basis.

Licensed Instance means a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) executing Flowable software, i.e. a JVM on a server node with 8-core CPUs.

Examples of Licensed Instance in a sentence

• Height of the floor above the street shall be no more than 15 inches measured at the centerline of the front (center on 60ft) and rear doorways.

• The deployment and use license for a Licensed Instance is for a specific virtual computing environment for which the deployment mechanism has been identified in the addendum or amendment to this License Agreement, or in an Order.

• Licensee may use Applications deployed on a Licensed Instance on any of the virtual CPU cores contained within the Licensed Instance provided that its use at any one time does not exceed the total number of virtual CPU cores licensed for the Licensed Instance that has been specified in an addendum or amendment to this License Agreement, or in an Order.

• Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, You may: (i) use and distribute the Report Designer Software in object code form only to any Authorized End User solely in conjunction with the Progress Reporting Software; and (ii) permit Your CAL Users to use the Report Designer Software in object code form only in the design and/or alteration of Your Reports that You upload to Your Licensed Instance (as defined below) of the Report Server Program.

• By continuing to access the AVCE Image and/or use the Licensed Instance after the effective date of any change to this Agreement, Licensee agrees to be bound by the changed terms.

• However, Licensee may use Applications deployed on such Licensed Instance on any CPU cores contained within the Licensed Instance provided that its use at any one time does not exceed the total number of virtual CPU cores licensed for the Licensed Instance.

• Licensee must ensure that the total number of CPU cores being used on the Licensed Instance at any one time does not exceed the number of licensed virtual CPU cores.

• The deployment and use license for a Licensed Instance is for a specific computing environment.

Licensed Instance means an Instance for which LICENSEE has purchased a license and subject to the Instance Restriction.
