Licensed Telecast definition

Licensed Telecast means the Telecast of any event or content other than (i) Telecasts, intended for exclusive or primary distribution within a specified territory outside the Territory as to which PVI has entered or enters into an exclusive license, of events that originate within such specified territory without the consent of the holder of such exclusive license or (ii) Telecasts of content with respect to which Cablevision or a Licensed Affiliate is not the primary rights holder, which is both (a) to be disseminated on a Network not owned or controlled by Cablevision or a Licensed Affiliate and (b) distributed by a System Operator other than Cablevision or a Licensed Affiliate.
Licensed Telecast means the Telecast of any event or content that is distributed by a System Operator that is a Licensee hereunder.

Examples of Licensed Telecast in a sentence

  • The License Period for any Pay TV or Free TV Licensed Rights ends on the earlier of the end of the License or the conclusion of the last Licensed Telecast.

  • The period during which Licensee may exploit the Licensed Right(s) in each Program starts on the Availability Date for the Program and ends on the earlier of the last Licensed Telecast for the Program or end of the Term.

  • If the Program is withdrawn Licensor must either: (i) promptly substitute a Program of like quality mutually satisfactory to Licensor and Licensee; or (ii) refund an equitable portion of the License Fee attributable to any unused Licensed Telecast.

  • Licensee may insert a customary number of commercial announcements in each Program during each Licensed Telecast in the places designated by Licensor, or, if none are designated, in places that do not unreasonably interrupt the continuity of the Program.
