Live-aboard definition

Live-aboard means a vessel being lived aboard for four or more nights per week;
Live-aboard means a seaworthy vessel that was designed primarily for navigation but is used as a residence. A boat or other floating structure is a residence if it is occupied 30 out of 45 days or 90 out of 365 days while moored or anchored in the same area, or if the local government, the marina, or the occupant of the boat defines it as a residence. The phrase “in the same area” means within a radius of one mile of any location where the same vessel previously moored or anchored. A vessel that is occupied and is moored or anchored in the same area, but not for the number of days described in this subsection, is considered a recreational or transient vessel (WAC 332-30-106).
Live-aboard means a floating vessel or other watercraft capable of safe, mechanically propelled navigation under average Georgia coastal wind and currentconditions which is utilized as a human or animal abode and is located at a marina or a mooring area established by the department.

Examples of Live-aboard in a sentence

  • Licensee shall not establish a permanent and/or primary residence on the Designated Boat while at the Designated Slip, regardless of Live Aboard status.

  • Should Licensee provide false information to Licensor regarding residence or Live Aboard status, or attempt to establish primary or permanent residence while at the Marina, Licensor shall have the right to immediately terminate this Agreement.


More Definitions of Live-aboard

Live-aboard means a person or persons lawfully living aboard a Dwelling as their Primary Residence pursuant to a valid Lease or Subtenant Agreement.
