LME Price definition

LME Price shall have the meaning specified in Section 5.1.3.
LME Price means the official London Metal Exchange (“LME”) High Grade cash settlement quotation, as published by Metal Bulletin, in U.S. dollars averaged over the Quotation Period. If the LME shall cease to trade aluminum or the aluminum settlement price of the LME is no longer published, “LME Price” shall mean the generally accepted substitute for such published price. If there is no such generally accepted substitute the parties in good faith shall select a substitute. If the parties cannot agree on a substitute, then either party may refer the determination to arbitration under Section 11.5.
LME Price means the average of the London Metal Exchange cash prices in United States dollars per mt for 99.7% aluminum ingot for the three months immediately preceding. The month of delivery which shall be determined by adding the monthly average cash price per mt for 99.7% aluminum ingot for each month in such three month period as reported in Metals Week and dividing such sum by three.

  • If at any time the London Metal Exchange publishes official prices for low-carbon aluminium or the London Metal Exchange no longer exists or does not publish official prices for aluminium (either temporarily or permanently) or the time at which the official price is recorded changes, the LME Price will be the official price per tonne of aluminium determined in accordance with such mechanism that the Calculation Agent determines.


More Definitions of LME Price

LME Price means the cash price quoted by the London Metals Exchange on any relevant date;
LME Price shall have the meaning specified in Section 5.1.3. “Metal Premium” shall be calculated in accordance with Exhibit E. “MT” means a unit of metric weight equal to 1,000 kilograms or 2,204.62 Pounds. “Nomination” shall have the meaning specified in Section 3.2.1. “Notices” shall have the meaning specified in Section 11.6. “Permitted Source” means any of the following sources of alumina: Aughinish, EurAllumina, San Ciprian, Alunorte, Bauxilum, Suriname or any Jamaican source. “Permitted Source Specifications” shall have the meaning specified in Section 3.3. “Plant” shall have the meaning specified in Recital A. “Potline Two” means the newly constructed potline facility at the Plant which, upon commissioning, will have an initial production capacity of 122,000 MT of primary aluminum per annum. “Pound” means a unit of weight of 16 ounces avoirdupois.

If the parties cannot agree on a substitute, then either party may refer the determination to arbitration under Section 11.5. 5.2 The Conversion Charge is based on Alumina delivery and covers the following services: 5.2.1 unloading Alumina Vessel at the Discharge Port at a minimum rate of 6,000 MT per day pro rata SHINC; 5.2.2 use of storage facility at the Plant for maximum 37,000 MT of Alumina; 5.2.3 production of Product at the Plant; 5.2.4 storage for a maximum 7,000 MT of Product at the Plant; 5.2.5 loading Product onto the Vessel pursuant to Section 4.6; 5.2.6 delivery of Product as ingot in 1 MT bundles; and 5.2.7 delivery of Product as sow in pieces.
LME Price means, in relation to a day:
LME Price means LME Settlement price for Grade A Copper;
LME Price means, for each Quarter, the arithmetic average LME 3 month seller's and buyer's price for Primary High Grade Aluminum, as published in Metal Bulletin on each day during the Quarter preceding such Quarter, expressed in Dollars. As an example, the LME Price for the Quarter commencing January 1, 2005 will be based on aluminum prices published during the Quarter commencing October 1, 2004.
LME Price means the London Metal Exchange Three Month Price as published by Reuters on Page MTLE and subsequently published in Metal Bulletin averaged over the applicable calendar quarter. In the event that LME prices are no longer reported or Metal Bulletin discontinues publication and such prices are no longer available, the parties will meet and agree upon a comparable mechanism to determine the LME Price.
