Clinical supervisor means any of the following:
Clinical supervision means direction or oversight provided either face to face or by videoconference or telephone by an individual qualified to evaluate, guide, and direct all behavioral health services provided by a licensee to assist the licensee to develop and improve the necessary knowledge, skills, techniques, and abilities to allow the licensee to engage in the practice of behavioral health ethically, safely, and competently.
General supervision means that general instructions are given and tasks are undertaken to achieve the required outcomes or objectives. Discretion and choice in selecting the most appropriate method for completing the allotted tasks is expected and encouraged.
Direct visual supervision means the supervisory dentist
Local Loop refers to a transmission facility between the main distribution frame [cross- connect], or its equivalent, in an Embarq Central Office or wire center, and up to the demarcation point (e.g., Network Interface Device) at a customer’s premises, to which CLEC is granted exclusive use. This includes all electronics, optronics and intermediate devices (including repeaters and load coils) used to establish the transmission path to the customer premises. local community means any community of people living or having rights or interests in a distinct geographical area;

Personal supervision means the dentist is physically present in the treatment room to oversee and direct all intraoral or chairside services of the dental assistant trainee and a licensee or registrant is physically present to oversee and direct all extraoral services of the dental assistant.
Group supervision means the process of clinical supervision of no more than six persons in a group setting provided by a qualified supervisor.
Postsecondary educational institution means a degree- or certificate-granting public or private college or university, junior college, or community college that is located in this state. The term includes the governing body of the postsecondary educational institution.
Local Labour means skilled, semi-skilled workers of all trades engaged by the Contractor on the Site for the purpose of or in connection with the Contract or engaged full time by the Contractor off the site for the Purpose of or in connection with the Contract (by way of illustration but not limitation: workers engaged full time in any office, store, workshop or quarry).
Water Supervisor means the Water Supervisor of the appropriate local office of the Safe Drinking Water Branch of the Ministry, where the Works are geographically located;
Local education agency means: a public authority legally constituted by the state as an administrative agency to provide control of and direction for Kindergarten through Twelfth (12th) grade public educational institutions.
Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.
Local Union means a bargaining unit representing employees at an institution that has ratified a Collective Agreement that includes this Common Agreement.
Approved Occupational Superannuation Fund means a superannuation fund which complies with the Occupational Superannuation Standards Act, 1987.
State educational agency means any state or local educational licensing body that provides a license, permit, authorization or other approval necessary for an educational institution or other entity to operate or to provide educational programs or courses in that state.
Local Number Portability (LNP) means the ability of users of Telecommunications Services to retain the presence of a previously existing telephone number(s).

Vocational education means organized educational programs that are directly related to the preparation of individuals for paid or unpaid employment, or for additional preparation for a career not requiring a baccalaureate or advanced degree.
Public safety agency means a functional division of a public agency, county, or the state that provides fire fighting, law enforcement, ambulance, medical, or other emergency services.
Local Number Portability (“LNP”) means the ability of users of Telecommunications Services to retain, at the same location, existing telecommunications numbers without impairment of quality, reliability, or convenience when switching from one Telecommunications Carrier to another.
Eligible educational institution means that term as defined in section 529 of the internal revenue code or a college, university, community college, or junior college described in section 4, 5, or 6 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963 or established under section 7 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963.
Securitisation Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2017/2402 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2017 laying down a general framework for securitisation and creating a specific framework for simple, transparent and standardised securitisation, and amending Directives 2009/65/EC, 2009/138/EC and 2011/61/EU and Regulations (EC) No 1060/2009 and (EU) No 648/2012, as such may be amended, supplement or replaced from time to time;
EU Securitisation Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2017/2402 of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 12, 2017 laying down a general framework for securitisation and creating a specific framework for simple, transparent and standardised securitisation and amending certain other European Union directives and regulations, as amended and in effect from time to time.
