Loss of work time definition

Loss of work time means any period of time during which an employee stops performing the normal duties of employment and leaves the place of employment to seek care from a licensed medical provider.

Examples of Loss of work time in a sentence

  • Loss of work time due to a recognized worker’s compensation injury shall allow an employee to coordinate his disability payment and available sick leave to achieve the employee’s pay for his daily guarantee.

Related to Loss of work time

  • Work Order means an individually negotiated document that is executed by both Parties and which authorizes a Project, if any, in an indefinite quantity Contract.

  • Cost of work , in table above, shall mean the agreement amount of the work.

  • Work Day means any day that an Employee is regularly scheduled to work and for which the Employee receives payment from the Employer.

  • Statement of Work means the description of activities performed in completing the Project, as specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Downtime means the Total Minutes in the Month during which the Cloud Service (or Servers for Server Provisioning) does not respond to a request from SAP’s Point of Demarcation for the data center providing the Cloud Service (or Server for Server Provisioning), excluding Excluded Downtime.

  • Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.
