Mandated Investments definition

Mandated Investments means “any investments made by or through any third party regulated by legislation on behalf of the actual owner of the funds, pursuant to a mandate given by the owner to a third party, which mandate is governed by that legislation.” This generally pertains to shareholding in publicly traded companies held by institutional shareholders such as, for example, banks, insurance companies and pension funds.

Related to Mandated Investments

  • Authorized Investments means: any investment which may be authorized by the Commission but does not include restricted investments as specified in the Offering Documents from time to time.
