Medical Equipment and Furniture definition

Medical Equipment and Furniture means and refers to, but is not limited to, examination tables, examination chairs, lift equipment, scales, radiologic and diagnostic equipment, dental chairs, ophthalmology equipment, and any other equipment used in the medical context for the provision of health care services, including diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

  • Medical equipment means equipment used in a patient care environment to support patient treatment and diagnosis.

  • Major medical equipment means medical equipment which is used for the provision of medical and other health services and which costs in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, except that such term does not include medical equipment acquired by or on behalf of a clinical laboratory to provide clinical laboratory services if the clinical laboratory is independent of a physician's office and a hospital and it has been determined under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to meet the requirements of paragraphs (10) and (11) of Section 1861(s) of such Act.   • Rental Equipment means the equipment identified on the Service Agreement and Order Schedule or otherwise notified to you in writing that we will rent to you as part of our provision of the Services and which you will return to us after expiry or termination of the Agreement, subject to the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Additional Equipment means equipment that is not factory fitted in the Vehicle, including but not limited to navigation equipment (GPS), baby seat, bicycle rack etcetera;

  • Medical equipment supplier means any person, as defined in § 1-230, engaged in the delivery to the ultimate consumer, pursuant to the lawful order of a practitioner, of hypodermic syringes and needles, medicinal oxygen, Schedule VI controlled devices, those Schedule VI controlled substances with no medicinal properties that are used for the operation and cleaning of medical equipment, solutions for peritoneal dialysis, and sterile water or saline for irrigation.

  • Agricultural equipment includes but is not limited to equipment associated with livestock or crop production, horticulture, or floriculture. “Agricultural equipment” includes but is not limited to tractors; trailers; combines; tillage, planting, and cultivating implements; balers; irrigation implements; and all-terrain vehicles.

  • Accessory equipment means any equipment associated with the installation of a wireless telecommunications facility, including but not limited to cabling, generators, fans, air conditioning units, electrical panels, equipment shelters, equipment cabinets, equipment buildings, pedestals, meters, vaults, splice boxes, and surface location markers.

  • Original equipment manufacturer means a company that manufactures products that it has designed from purchased components and sells those products under the company's brand name.

  • New equipment means equipment for which, by the cut-off date, neither of the following events has occurred:

  • Designated Equipment means any equipment designated in the SLA, upon which the Licensed System may be used; Documentation means operating manuals and other printed materials which assist the Customer to use the Licensed System including any technical and user software material as published by Pentana Solutions; Escalation Request is as set out in the SLA;

  • Standard equipment means the basic configuration of a vehicle which is equipped with all the features that are required under the regulatory acts of the Contracting Party including all features that are fitted without giving rise to any further specifications on configuration or equipment level.

  • Furniture means articles of which wood, reeds, rattan, cane, seagrass or metal comprise the whole or part and such as are usually made or assembled by cabinet makers, assemblers in the furnishing trades, chair and couch makers, upholsterers, wood carvers, or wood turners; and

  • Participating Durable Medical Equipment Provider means a Durable Medical Equipment Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
