Medical or dental clinic. - means any professional medical building or establishment where people are examined or treated by doctors, dentists, chiropractors, psychiatrists, opticians, ophthalmologists, optometrists and psychologists, but are not hospitalized overnight.
Medical or dental clinic means a building or part of a building where members of the medical profession, dentists, chiropractors, osteopaths, optometrists, physicians or occupational therapists, either singularly or in union, provide diagnosis and treatment to the general public without overnight accommodation and shall include such uses as reception areas, offices for consultation, X-ray and minor operating rooms, and a pharmaceutical dispensary, provided that all such uses have access only from the interior of the building, and shall not include any other use or activity otherwise defined or classified in this By-law.
