Member Month definition

Member Month means one Member enrolled with the HMO during any given month. The total Member Months for each month of a year comprise the annual Member Months.

More Definitions of Member Month

Member Month. A month in which a Customer/Patient is a Program Customer/Patient under this Program. Payment Quarter: A 3-month period with the 1st quarter starting on the 1st day of the Measurement Period. For example, the 1st Payment Quarter of an applicable Measurement Period runs from January 1st through March 31st. The 2nd Payment Quarter will run from April 1st through June 30th. The 3rd Payment Quarter will run from July 1st through September 30th. The last Payment Quarter of an applicable Measurement Period will run from October 1st through December 31st.

Member Month means one capitated paid enrollment month per Member. The total Member Months for each month of a year comprise the annual Member Months.

Member Month means, respectively, during any applicable month, the number of active eligible Customer Members as enrolled and entered by Customer onto the MPOWER System, adjusted for actual retroactive Customer Member enrollment or disenrollment occurring in the prior twelve (12) months. Such retroactive adjustments shall include the twelve (12) months prior to the Effective Date of this is Agreement. Retroactive disenrollment shall not apply to a month in which the Member was, at any prior time, eligible for processing on MPOWER's system under a Customer's subscriber contras, and are limited to late enrollments and disenrollments by employer groups.

For the purposes of this definition, PC Buyer shall be deemed to include Metropolitan IPA and Allied physicians along with all primary care physicians that have provider agreements with CFC IPA as of the Initial Closing Date, and are in the zip codes where CFC IPA primary care physicians are located as of the Initial Closing Date, including but not limited to Antelope Valley, San Fernando Valley and the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles.

Member Month means one Dental Member enrolled with the Dental Contractor during any given month. The total Member Months for each month of a year comprise the annual Member Months.
