Members of the Service definition

Members of the Service means the Cadets and Civilians subject to this Agreement, who pay Association dues and no other personnel of the Service. For further clarification and certainty, this term shall be deemed to include any full-time or temporary employees or persons employed by the Service on a part-time basis or for a limited period of time. Members of the Service means all members of the Service save and except the Chief of Police, and Deputy Chiefs of Police, and excluding the Cadets and Civilian Employees who shall be part of a separate agreement between the Board and the Association. This agreement made pursuant to the Police Services Act and amendments thereto as the said Act and Regulations may be amended from time to time.

Examples of Members of the Service in a sentence

  • Members of the Service shall be credited with one (1) hour overtime at time and one-half for any part of an hour worked in excess of thirty (30) minutes but under seventy-six (76) minutes.

More Definitions of Members of the Service

Members of the Service means persons recruited to and undergoing education and training in the Service;
