Members of the Service definition

Members of the Service means the Cadets and Civilians subject to this agreement and no other personnel of the Service. For further clarification and certainty, this term shall be deemed to include any full-time or temporary employees or persons employed by the Service on a part-time basis or for a limited period of time.

Members of the Service means all members of the Service save and except the Chief of Police, and Deputy Chiefs of Police, and excluding the Cadets and Civilian Employees who shall be part of a separate agreement between the Board and the Association. Examples of Members of the Service in a sentence

  • The Board acknowledges the right of the Association to appoint or select a Bargaining Committee of not more than five (5) Police Officers who are Members of the Service (referred to in the Agreement as the “Bargaining Committee”) and will recognize and deal with this committee with respect to any matter arising from time to time during the term of this Agreement.
