Metered CO2 Output definition

Metered CO2 Output means the sum of:

  • The units for Metered CO2 Output ( tCO2) may need to be adjusted where a CO2 Capture Test is carried out over a period of time which is longer or shorter than a Settlement Unit.

  • For hybrid CCS/CCU projects, the denominator for the Capex Payment Rate calculation will be the Metered CO2 Output Estimate (i.e. the Emitter's estimate of the total amount of CO2 that will be captured during the first five (5) years of the Capex Payment Period) whereas, for CCS only projects, the denominator will be the Metered CO2 Output to T&S Estimate (i.e. the Emitter's estimate of the total amount of CO2 that will be captured and stored during the same period).

  • Unmetered Load means electricity consumed on the Network that is not directly recorded using Metering Equipment, but is calculated or estimated in accordance with the Code;

  • Metered Quantity means apparent power, reactive power, active power, with associated time tagging and any other quantity that may be measured by a Party’s Metering Equipment and that is reasonably required by either Party for Security reasons or revenue requirements.

  • Residual Metered Load means all load remaining in an electric distribution company’s fully metered franchise area(s) or service territory(ies) after all nodally priced load of entities serving load in such area(s) or territory(ies) has been carved out.

  • Metered Energy means the quantity of electric energy, expressed in kWh, as measured by (i) the CAISO-Approved Meter(s), which quantity will be adjusted so as not to include compensation factors, if any, introduced by the CAISO into the CAISO-Approved Meter(s) other than (x) electric energy consumed within the generator collection system as losses between the generator(s) and the high voltage side of the Generating Facility output transformer(s) and, (y) if applicable, the Generating Facility’s radial line losses, or (ii) Check Meters, as applicable, in each case for the specified Metering Interval.

  • Meter means, unless otherwise qualified, a device that measures and registers the integral of an electrical quantity with respect to time.

  • Generator Maintenance Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the facility, if removal of the facility meets the guidelines specified in the PJM Manuals.

  • Plasma arc incinerator means any enclosed device using a high intensity electrical discharge or arc as a source of heat followed by an afterburner using controlled flame combustion and which is not listed as an industrial furnace.

  • Meters shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.6(a) hereof.

  • Meet-Point Billing (MPB means the billing associated with interconnection of facilities between two (2) or more LECs for the routing of traffic to and from an IXC with which one of the LECs does not have a direct connection. In a multi-bill environment, each Party bills the appropriate tariffed rate for its portion of a jointly provided Switched Exchange Access Service.

  • Generator Forced Outage means an immediate reduction in output or capacity or removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit by reason of an Emergency or threatened Emergency, unanticipated failure, or other cause beyond the control of the owner or operator of the facility, as specified in the relevant portions of the PJM Manuals. A reduction in output or removal from service of a generating unit in response to changes in market conditions shall not constitute a Generator Forced Outage.

  • Single tomogram system means a CT x-ray system which obtains x-ray transmission data during a scan to produce a single tomogram.

  • Wind Turbine means a mechanical/electrical system that converts the kinetic energy of blowing wind into mechanical or electric power.

  • embedded generator means a generator who is not a market participant and whose generation facility is connected to a distribution system of a distributor, but does not include a generator who consumes more electricity than it generates;

  • Consumption Data means customer specific electric usage data, or weather adjusted data, including but not limited to kW, kWh, voltage, var, power factor, and other information that is recorded by the electric meter for the Company and stored in its systems.   • Combustion turbine means an enclosed fossil or other fuel-fired device that is comprised of a compressor, a combustor, and a turbine, and in which the flue gas resulting from the combustion of fuel in the combustor passes through the turbine, rotating the turbine.

  • Finished water means the water that is introduced into the distribution system of a public water system and is intended for distribution and consumption without further treatment, except as treatment necessary to maintain water quality in the distribution system (e.g., booster disinfection, addition of corrosion control chemicals).

  • Delivery Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which energy is delivered into the Grid System i.e. the Interconnection Point.
