Military Students definition

Military Students means students of active duty military service members, as well as students of military service members who have been severely injured or died during active duty that were discharged or retired due to their injuries less than a year prior to transfer.

  • Military status means a person's status in "service in the uniformed services" as defined in section 5923.05 of the Revised Code.

  • Military service means honorably serving on federal active duty, state active duty, or national guard duty, as defined in Iowa Code section 29A.1; in the military services of other states, as provided in 10 U.S.C. Section 101(c); or in the organized reserves of the United States, as provided in 10 U.S.C. Section 10101.

Military munitions do not include wholly inert items, improvised explosive devices, and nuclear weapons, nuclear devices, and nuclear components thereof. However, the term does include non-nuclear components of nuclear devices, managed under DOE's nuclear weapons program after all required sanitization operations under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, have been completed.

  • Military caregiver leave means leave taken to care for a covered servicemember with a serious injury or illness.

  • Modular home means a modular unit as defined in Section 15A-1-302.

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
