Mobile Home or Manufactured Home definition

Mobile Home or Manufactured Home means a single or multiple section dwelling (conforming to CSA certified standards) designed to be transported on its own wheels and chassis or to be towed or carried to a mobile home district, and may be supported on wood blocking, concrete piers or a permanent foundation, and is designed to be connected to service utilities so as to be suitable for permanent residential occupancy. This use does not include RTM’s, travel trailers, truck campers, fifth wheels or motor homes.

Mobile Home or Manufactured Home means any structure designed or used as a permanent residence, built on a permanent chassis, and transportable to site of placement in one or more sections.

Mobile Home or Manufactured Home means a movable dwelling unit designed and constructed (not constructed on site) for permanent occupancy by a single family which contains permanent eating, cooking, sleeping and sanitary facilities, which is designed to be moved by axles and wheels forming a part of such unit (which axles and wheels may, however, be removed while the unit is at rest) and which units are manufactured with complete plumbing and electrical systems ready for hook up. Mobile Home or Manufactured Home means a movable detached single family dwelling unit with all the following characteristics: (a) designed for long term occupancy, and containing sleeping accommodations, a flush toilet ,a tub or shower bath and kitchen facilities, with plumbing and electrical connections provided for attachment to outside systems; (b) designed and constructed on a chassis that is capable of being transported after fabrication on its own wheels or detachable wheels bearing a label certifying it is built in compliance with Federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C.-501) which became effective June 15, 1976; ( c) arrive at a site where it is to be occupied as a dwelling complete and ready for occupancy except for minor incidental unpacking and assembly operations, installed by a Licensed Installer, connections to utilities, and (d) not required to be placed on a foundation. (Does not refer to travel trailers, truck campers, camping trailers, or similar units designed for recreation or other short term use.)

  • Existing Manufactured Home Park or Manufactured Home Subdivision means a manufactured home park or subdivision for which the construction of facilities for servicing the lots on which the manufactured homes are to be affixed (including, at a minimum, the installation of utilities, the construction of streets, and either final site grading or the pouring of concrete pads) was completed before the initial effective date of the floodplain management regulations adopted by the community.

  • Manufactured Home Park or Subdivision means a parcel (or contiguous parcels) of land divided into two or more manufactured home lots for rent or sale.

  • Manufactured or “Manufacturing” means all activities related to the manufacture of a Compound, including planning, purchasing, manufacture, processing, compounding, storage, filling, packaging, waste disposal, labeling, leafleting, testing, quality assurance, sample retention, stability testing, release, dispatch and supply, as applicable.

  • Locally manufactured goods means goods whose value, either in whole or in part, is derived from growing, producing, processing, assembling, or manufacturing activities that occur within a city-based manufacturer's facility located within the city.

  • Mobile home space means a parcel of land for rent which has been designed to accommodate a mobile home and provide the required sewer and utility connections.

  • Major medical equipment means medical equipment which is used for the provision of medical and other health services and which costs in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, except that such term does not include medical equipment acquired by or on behalf of a clinical laboratory to provide clinical laboratory services if the clinical laboratory is independent of a physician's office and a hospital and it has been determined under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to meet the requirements of paragraphs (10) and (11) of Section 1861(s) of such Act. In determining whether medical equipment has a value in excess of the capital expenditure minimum, the value of studies, surveys, designs, plans, working drawings, specifications, and other activities essential to the acquisition of such equipment shall be included.

  • Residential care facility means an institution, residence, or facility that is licensed by the department of mental health under section 5119.22 of the Revised Code and that provides care for a child.
