Mold and Mildew. Tenants acknowledge that the rental unit is located in Florida, which has a climate conducive to the growth of mold and mildew, and that it is necessary to provide proper ventilation and dehumidification of the premises to retard and prevent the growth of mold and mildew. Liability for Damages, Injuries, Personal Property, and Cleaning: You further agree that you shall be responsible for damages to the dwelling unit and your personal property as well as injury to you and all occupants of the dwelling unit resulting from your failure to comply with the terms of this Mold Addendum. Violation of Addendum: Violation of this Addendum shall be deemed a material Non- Compliance under the terms of the Lease, and Owner shall be entitled to excise all rights and remedies it possesses against resident at law or equity. General: This Mold Addendum is considered part of the Lease Contract described above. In the event of any conflict between the terms of this Mold Addendum and the terms of the Lease Contract, the terms of this Mold Addendum shall control.
