Due to dry climate, all doors should be left in closed position to decrease warping. Humidifiers will help decrease warping.

DOORS AND WINDOWS. (a) The unit of measurement shall be number. (b) The rate in the Bill of Quantities shall include for the supply and building-in of all frames, glazing and all iron mongery as specified.
DOORS AND WINDOWS. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, services, tools and equipment required for the supply and installation of hollow metal doors, rolling steel doors, windows, glass and glazing, and hardware for the project. Hollow metal doors, frames and components shall be manufactured from hot-dipped galvanized cold rolled steel. Doors shall have insulated cores. The doors and frames shall be shop primed and field finish painted. Doors shall have vision lites, louvers, dampers, etc. as required by their location. The doors and frames shall be furnished and installed per Steel Door Institute (SDI) requirements. Fire rated doors shall comply with NFPA Standard No. 80 and be tested and labeled per UL requirements. All hinged exterior doors shall have automatic door closures. Rolling steel doors and frames shall be manufactured from hot-dipped galvanized cold rolled steel and have insulated interlocking slats. All rolling steel doors shall be motor operated with chain backup. Doors shall be factory primed and field finish painted. Windows shall be manufactured of extruded aluminum frames and ventilator sections. Windows shall be either horizontal sliding type or fixed type depending on location. In general, exterior windows shall be sliding type with screens and storm sash, and interior windows shall be fixed type. Frames shall meet standards of Architectural Aluminum Manufacturer's Association. Hardware shall provide locking capability for all sliding windows. Finish shall be selected by the Owner from the Manufacturer's standard finishes. The main entrance to main building shall be a double doored vestibule with glass doors and walls. Glass and glazing for windows and doors shall comply with applicable ASTM standards, Federal Specifications and Flat Glass Marketing Association. Glass for fire rated applications shall comply with NFPA No. 80 standard for Fire Doors and Windows. Glass for exterior applications shall be tinted insulating glass. Hardware for doors shall comply with applicable sections of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ANSI standards, Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) and SDI. Hardware for fire doors shall comply with NFPA 80 and UL requirements. All hardware shall be installed per manufacturer's recommendations. All locksets shall be master keyed with no more than two master key groups.

DOORS AND WINDOWS. 3.1 Tenant entrance doors should be kept closed at all times in accordance with the fire code. 3.2 Tenant shall not alter any lock or install any new or additional locks or bolts on any doors or windows of the Premises without obtaining Landlord’s prior written consent. Tenant shall bear the cost of any lock changes or repairs required by Tenant. Two keys will be furnished by Landlord for the Premises, and any additional keys required by Tenant must be obtained from Landlord at a reasonable cost to be established by Landlord. Upon termination of the Lease, all keys to the Building and the Premises shall be surrendered to Landlord. 3.3 All signage at the entrance to the Premises will be in the standard graphics for the Building, and no other may be used or permitted on the Premises without Landlord’s prior written consent. 3.4 All glass, locks and trimmings in or upon the doors and windows of the Building will be kept whole and when any part thereof is broken the same will be immediately replaced or repaired and put in good repair. 3.5 Window blinds of a uniform Building Standard, color and pattern only will be used throughout the Building to give uniform color exposure through exterior windows. These blinds will remain in the lower position at all times to provide uniform exposure for the outside. 3.6 Landlord will have the right to close all or a portion of the Building at any time and require tenants to exit the same, during and in connection with any actual, alleged, imminent or potential hurricane, tropical storm or other extreme weather, tidal wave, terrorist threat, or other emergency, whether in Landlord’s judgment or based on governmental order or curfew; Landlord will not be liable to Tenant, and Tenant will not be entitled to any rent abatement and will not have any right or remedy against Landlord, in connection with any such closure.

DOORS AND WINDOWS. The access doors of the boat at port and starboard side shall be half panelled and half glazed made of FRP. It shall be pneumatically controlled and should open towards the inside of the boat. In addition to the above a half panelled and half glazed door made of FRP shall be provided at the fore side of the boat to allow access to the fore deck of the boat. All glazing shall be of 4mm plus 4mm thick laminated glass, green tinted with 80% transparency. The windows of the boat shall be of sliding type fabricated out 4mm plus 4mm thick laminated glass, green tinted with 80% transparency and heavy duty channels. The wind screen of the boat shall be of toughened glass, with Ultraviolet protection. Sufficient number of vipers shall be provided to allow unhindered operation of the boat during rain.
