Step One In accordance with the requirements of formal filing listed in Section 2 of this Article, the grievance must be presented in writing to the Department Chair. (If the grievant is in an administrative unit with no Chair, then this step is omitted.) If the grievance is not resolved at this meeting, then within ten (10) days of the meeting, the Department Chair shall forward a written response to the grievance to the grievant, with a copy to the Union representative.
