Neighborhood Parks definition

Neighborhood Parks means the parks that are designed to serve the informal recreation needs of nearby residents, which will typically include general neighborhood park facilities like playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, sitting, and informal recreation.
Neighborhood Parks shall consist of the existing City parks set forth on the attached List of Park Facilities Exhibit, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by this reference, and any future parks agreed to by the parties. Any amenities listed in Exhibit A may be removed and/or additional amenities added to any Park at the sole discretion of the City. The YMCA shall be responsible for the renting of the shelters and reservation of athletic fields and concession stands at the various Neighborhood Parks which shall include collection of rental fees and scheduling reservations for said rentals. City held special events will take precedent over other events. All reservations shall be pursuant to applicable City policies, including but not limited to requiring patrons to provide insurance listing City as an additional insured. The YMCA’s programming responsibility shall include future amenities added to parks including but not limited to an amphitheater which is contemplated as part of the City’s park system. The YMCA shall not be responsible for maintaining the grounds at the various Neighborhood Parks, or for the opening, closing and clean-up of the shelters and restroom facilities. The City Public Works Department shall remain responsible for lawn maintenance, shelter and restroom opening, closing and clean-up.
Neighborhood Parks means those parks designated as “Neighborhood Parks” on Exhibit S. The size and locations of each Neighborhood Park may change during final subdivision of the surrounding portions of the Property, but each Neighborhood Park must be designed and constructed in accordance with the Design Guidelines. Objection Period as defined in Section 3.4(c) hereof.

Related to Neighborhood Parks

  • Neighborhood means either of the following:

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Center means the center for educational performance and information created in section 94a.

  • Community mental health center or "CMHC" means a facility offering a comprehensive array of community-based mental health services, including but not limited to, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency care, consultation and education; and, certain services at the option of the center, including, but not limited to, prescreening, rehabilitation services, pre-care and aftercare, training programs, and research and evaluation.

  • Parks means the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.

  • townsite in relation to the townsite to be established near the harbour means a townsite (whether or not constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act) primarily to facilitate the Company’s operations in and near the harbour and for employees of the Company and in relation to the mining areas means such a townsite or townsites or any other townsite or townsites which is or are established by the Company for the purposes of its operations and employees on or near the mining areas in lieu of a townsite constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act;

  • Downtown means the area covered by the Downtown Community Plan.(BYLAW 7688, 2014)

  • Centers means the international agricultural and natural resources research centers that are members of the Consortium; and each a “Center”.

  • Empowerment Neighborhoods means neighborhoods designated by the Urban Coordinating Council “in consultation and conjunction with” the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority pursuant to N.J.S.A 55:19-69.

  • Shopping mall means an enclosed public walkway or hall area that serves to connect retail or professional establishments.

  • Condominium Corporation means a condominium or strata corporation established under provincial legislation.

  • Ambulatory surgical center means any public or private State licensed and approved (whenever required by law) establishment with an organized medical staff of Physicians, with permanent facilities that are equipped and operated primarily for the purpose of performing Surgical Procedures, with continuous Physician services and registered professional nursing service whenever a patient is in the facility, and which does not provide service or other accommodations for patients to stay overnight.

  • Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.

  • Campsite means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.

  • Youth Football means those participating at ages under 11s to under 18s.

  • foreshore , in relation to a port, means the area between the high-water mark and the low-water mark relating to that port;

  • Transit village means a community with a bus, train, light rail,

  • Frontage means and refer to all the property on one side of a street between two intersecting streets measured along the line of the street, or if the street is dead-ended, then all of the property abutting on one side between an intersecting street and the dead end of the street.
