New Compound definition

New Compound means (i) any active pharmaceutical ingredient other than the API, or (ii) any pharmaceutical product containing an active pharmaceutical ingredient other than the API (excluding any combination product containing the API).
New Compound means any compound discovered or developed by Acucela or its Affiliates during the Term, independently of any activities of the Collaboration hereunder. For clarity, New Compounds shall exclude any Potential Collaboration Compounds or other Acucela Core Compounds.
New Compound means any adenosine A2a receptor agonist, other than Licensed Compound, which is discovered, developed or acquired by Otsuka or any of its Affiliates during the term of this Agreement.

Examples of New Compound in a sentence

  • Together with each such New Compound Report, Ascentage will supply to Unity at least [***] ([***]) [***] of each of the Unity Compounds disclosed in such report in a formulation as described in Exhibit 2.2 or as otherwise specified in the Research Agreement or UM Sponsored Research Agreement.

  • During the Exclusive Evaluation Period following the Unity’s receipt of a given New Compound Report, Unity shall have the exclusive right to assess the Unity Compounds disclosed in such report and to designate one or more of such Unity Compounds as Unity Active Compounds, with any such designations being made in accordance with the procedures described in Section 2.5 below.

  • Commencing on the date of Unity’s receipt of any given New Compound Report and continuing for the duration of Term, Ascentage may designate one or more Ascentage Future Compounds disclosed in such report as an Ascentage Active Compound by providing Unity with written notice as described in 2.6.2(a) below and subject to the requirements of Section 2.6.2(b) below.

  • Following the end of the Exclusive Evaluation Period, any Unity Compounds disclosed in the applicable New Compound Report shall thereafter be included within the Library and all such compounds that have not been designated as Unity Active Compounds shall thereafter be available for designation by either Party as an Active Compound in accordance with Sections 2.5 and 2.6 (as applicable).

  • Commencing on the date of Unity’s receipt of any given New Compound Report and continuing for the duration of Term, Unity shall have the right to designate one or more Unity Compounds as Unity Active Compound, by providing Ascentage with written notice as described in Section 2.5.2(a) below and subject to the requirements of Section 2.5.2(b) below.


More Definitions of New Compound

New Compound means any compound that is developed under the PROJECT, and any method of making or using such compound.
New Compound means any small molecule compound, other than an SRA Compound, that, as a direct result of its therapeutic application, results in increased levels of SMN1 mRNA and protein based on the conversion of SMN2 RNA to SMN1 mRNA, including without limitation compounds, other than SRA Compounds, first synthesized or identified by either Party in the Research Program, and any salts, polymorphs, esters, metabolites, pro-drugs, isomers and enantiomers thereof.
New Compound means: (i) any uPA Inhibitor and members of the same Chemical Class which is identified, discovered, created or synthesized by 3DP or an Affiliate in the course of the Research Program; (ii) any chemical entity, and any member of the same Chemical Class as such chemical entity, that is identified, discovered, created or synthesized by 3DP or an Affiliate and is discovered during the Research Term, but outside of the Research Program, to be a uPA Inhibitor, to the extent that such chemical entity is Controlled by 3DP or an Affiliate; and (iii) any chemical entity, and any member of the same Chemical Class as such chemical entity that is identified, discovered, created or synthesized by 3DP or an Affiliate and is discovered to be a uPA Inhibitor after the end of the Research Term but within six (6) months thereafter, to the extent that such chemical entity is Controlled by 3DP or an Affiliate.
