New Plan means a plan that did not exist before the Premium Payment Year. This includes a plan resulting from a Consolidation or Spinoff. A plan that meets this definition is considered to be a New Plan even if the plan constitutes a successor plan within the meaning of ERISA section 4021(a).

Examples of New Plan in a sentence

  • New Plan - Enter the first day of your plan year (usually January 1) and the year.

  • Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to (i) establish, amend, or modify any Company Benefit Plan, New Plan or any other benefit or employment plan, program, agreement or arrangement, or (ii) alter or limit the ability of the Surviving Corporation or any of its Subsidiaries or affiliates to amend, modify or terminate any particular Company Benefit Plan, New Plan or any other benefit or employment plan, program, agreement or arrangement after the Effective Time.
