Novel Target definition

Novel Target means a mammalian orthologue of a Selected Target, which orthologue (a) was identified by or on behalf of Exelixis pursuant to work conducted under the Mode of Action Program [*] BMS Compound [*] Selected Target [*] Novel Targets [*] Unlinked Related [*], Known Targets [*] Confirmed Targets.
Novel Target. [ * ] "Unlinked Related Target", [ * ] Known Target for the purposes of the economics and other rights and obligations under the Agreement, under one of the circumstances set forth below:
Novel Target means any Mammalian Target that is not a Known Target.

  • For each Diagnostic Product that is based upon the detection of [ * ] of, a Novel Target, BMS shall pay Exelixis a royalty equal to [ * ] of the Net Sales of each such Diagnostic Product.

  • With respect to any action or defense provided for in this paragraph (a), ALNYLAM shall not admit the invalidity or unenforceability of any MERCK RNAi Patent Rights, MERCK RNAi Novel Target IP or Joint Collaboration Patent Rights without the prior written consent of MERCK.

  • ALNYLAM may at any time notify MERCK that it has stopped work on a particular MERCK RNAi Novel Target because the target is no longer scientifically or commercially interesting to ALNYLAM ("ABANDONED MERCK RNAi NOVEL TARGET").

Related to Novel Target

  • Soft Target means a target that will suffer minimum damage and cause minimum damage to the subject vehicle in the event of a collision.

  • KPI Target means the acceptable performance level for a KPI as set out in each KPI;

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.
