Nursing Assessment definition

Nursing Assessment means evaluation of fluids, nutrition, bowel or bladder elimination, respiration, circulation, skin, vision, hearing, musculoskeletal systems, allergies, personal hygiene, mental status, communicative skills, safety needs, rest, sleep, comfort, pain, other appropriate measures of physical status, and medication and treatment regimes. Nursing assessment includes data collection, comparison with previous data, analysis or evaluation of that data, and utilization of available resource information.
Nursing Assessment means one of the following assessments selected by the registered nurse based on an individual's need and situation:
Nursing Assessment means a written review of information collected from observation of and interaction with a resident, the resident’s record, and any other relevant sources; the analysis of the information; and recommendations for modification of the resident’s care, if warranted.

More Definitions of Nursing Assessment

Nursing Assessment means a written review of information collected from observation and interaction with a resident, including the resident’s record and any other relevant sources of information, the analysis of the information, and recommendations for modification of the resident’s care, if warranted. The assessment must contain the signature and credential initials of the person who conducted the assessment.
Nursing Assessment means an assessment completed by a registered nurse that:
