Online meeting definition

Online meeting means a meeting that is conducted over the Internet through the use of mediating tech- nologies, such as online services, com- puter hardware and software, etc., where technology is used to generate objects and environments that are pre- sented to users through a number of senses (e.g., vision and hearing). The mediating technologies allow people or objects at remote locations to appear locally present or at least allow them to be treated that way during the course of the meeting.
Online meeting or “Virtual meeting” means a meeting arranged as under these Rules, between the arbitral tribunal or APCAM and one or more of the parties for conducting arbitration proceedings by audio-conference, video-conference, or other similar means of communication. The Online meeting has to be conducted as per the protocols mentioned in Schedule-4.
