Option Writer definition

Option Writer means the Contracting Party that is obliged to perform the terms of the Foreign Exchange Option under the contract if the option is exercised.
Option Writer and "Reinsurance Option Writer" shall mean the respective entities listed on Exhibit A.
Option Writer means Swiss Re Financial Products Corporation, a Delaware corporation.

More Definitions of Option Writer

Option Writer means a Securities Broker that opens options position (call or put) either for its proprietary account or on behalf of the clients to collect a premium payment from the option buyer. Writers can sell call or put options that are covered or uncovered (blank).
Option Writer means the organization named in the preamble of this Agreement, which shall be (a) entitled to the financial benefits and privileges, and subject to the financial burdens and obligations, of Option Writer under this Agreement, (b) obligated to fully comply with all representations, warranties, conditions, covenants and agreements applicable to Option Writer under this Agreement, and (c) referred to in this Agreement as an "Option Writer".

  • Option Holder means a Person or Entity who holds an unexercised and unexpired Option or, where applicable, the Personal Representative of such person.
