PAGA Award definition

PAGA Award means the $2,500 allocated that is to be directly paid to the Labor
PAGA Award means the portion of the Total Settlement Amount that is allocated to PAGA penalties, pursuant to California Labor Code section 2698 et seq., and as awarded by the Court. The PAGA Award may not exceed Eighty Thousand dollars ($80,000), of which seventy-five percent (75%) will be distributed to the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency and twenty-five percent (25%) will be distributed to Putative Class Members as part of the Net Distribution Fund.

Examples of PAGA Award in a sentence

  • Specifically, the Settlement Administrator shall prepare and mail a check payable to the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency for an amount not to exceed eighty percent (75%) of the PAGA Award.

  • The value of each PAGA Pay Period shall be determined by the Settlement Administrator by dividing the 25% of the PAGA Award allocated for PAGA Employees by the Total PAGA Pay Periods for all PAGA Employees (“PAGA Pay Period Value”).

  • The PAGA Award shall be distributed within fourteen (14) calendar days after the Settlement is funded.

  • The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the PAGA Award shall be included within the Net Distribution Fund for distribution to Class Members as part of the 1/4 penalties component of the Individual Settlement Payment.

  • No more than five (5) calendar days after the Effective Date, the Settlement Administrator will provide the Parties with an accounting of all anticipated payments from the Settlement Fund Account, including: (1) Individual Settlement Payments and employer-side taxes thereon; (2) the PAGA Award; (3) Plaintiff’s Service Award; (4) the Class Counsel Fees Award; (5) the Class Counsel Costs Award; and (6) Settlement Administration Costs, all as specified in this Settlement Agreement and approved by the Court.

  • If you worked for Defendants during the Class Period and/or the PAGA Period, your options under the Settlement are as follows: Do NothingIf you do nothing, you will be a Participating Class Member, eligible for an Individual Class Award and an Individual PAGA Award (if applicable).

  • If no amount is stated for your Individual PAGA Award, then you are not eligible for an Individual PAGA Award under the Settlement because you didn’t work during the PAGA Period.

  • 3(i) Award means an Award granted pursuant to Section 3(i) of the Ordinance to any person who is a Non- Employee.

  • Performance Stock Unit means a right granted to a Participant pursuant to Section 8.2, to receive Stock, the payment of which is contingent upon achieving certain Performance Goals or other performance-based targets established by the Committee.

  • Restricted Award means any Award granted pursuant to Section 7.2(a).

  • Phantom Stock Award means an Award granted under Paragraph X of the Plan.

  • Restricted Stock Unit Award means a right to receive shares of Common Stock which is granted pursuant to the terms and conditions of Section 6(b).

  • Cash Performance Award means an Award that is denominated by a cash amount to an Eligible Person under Section 10 hereof and payable based on or conditioned upon the attainment of pre-established business and/or individual Performance Goals over a specified performance period.

  • Cash-Based Award means an Award entitling the recipient to receive a cash-denominated payment.

  • LTIP Award means each or any, as the context requires, LTIP Award issued under any Equity Incentive Plan.

  • RSU means a contractual right granted pursuant to Section 9 that is denominated in Shares. Each RSU represents a right to receive the value of one Share (or a percentage of such value) in cash, Shares or a combination thereof. Awards of RSUs may include the right to receive dividend equivalents.

  • Performance Share Unit or “PSU” means a unit equivalent in value to a Share, credited by means of a bookkeeping entry in the books of the Corporation in accordance with Article 6;

  • Restricted Stock Unit Award Agreement means a written agreement between the Company and a holder of a Restricted Stock Unit Award evidencing the terms and conditions of a Restricted Stock Unit Award grant. Each Restricted Stock Unit Award Agreement will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan.

  • Performance Shares means Shares or an Award denominated in Shares which may be earned in whole or in part upon attainment of performance criteria established by the Administrator.
