PAGA Award definition

PAGA Award means the $2,500 allocated that is to be directly paid to the Labor
PAGA Award means the portion of the Total Settlement Amount that is allocated to PAGA penalties, pursuant to California Labor Code section 2698 et seq., and as awarded by the Court. The PAGA Award may not exceed Eighty Thousand dollars ($80,000), of which seventy-five percent (75%) will be distributed to the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency and twenty-five percent (25%) will be distributed to Putative Class Members as part of the Net Distribution Fund.
PAGA Award means the portion of the Settlement Sum that is allocated to PAGA civil penalties to be paid to the LWDA and PAGA Members, pursuant to California Labor Code

Examples of PAGA Award in a sentence

  • Within fourteen 25 (14) calendar days after the Effective Date, the Settlement Administrator will pay 26 Attorneys’ Fees and Costs, the Named Plaintiff’s Service Award, and the LWDA’s share 27 of the PAGA Award to the LWDA.

  • The PAGA Settlement Shares for each Class Member who worked during the PAGA Period will be calculated by (a) dividing the $15,000 portion of the PAGA Award by the total number of workweeks Class Members who worked during the PAGA Period and (b) multiplying the result by each individual Class Member’s workweeks that occurred during the PAGA Period.

  • 3(i) Award means an Award granted pursuant to Section 3(i) of the Ordinance to any person who is a Non- Employee.

  • Cash Award means an award denominated in cash.

  • Performance Unit Award means an Award granted under Article XI of the Plan under which, upon the satisfaction of predetermined Performance Goals, a cash payment shall be made to the Holder, based on the number of Units awarded to the Holder.

  • Share Award means an Award of Shares granted pursuant to Section 10.

  • Performance Award means any right granted under Section 6(d) of the Plan.
