PCT means the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
LNP shall have the meaning set forth in Section 10.2.1.1.
MFDA means the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada;
NDRC means the National Development and Reform Commission of the PRC or its local counterparts;
Spectrum means frequencies of electromagnetic spectrum used to provide fixed or mobile communications services as licensed or authorized by the FCC.
EMEA means the European Medicines Agency.
Cannabis means all parts of the plant Cannabis sativa Linnaeus, Cannabis indica, or Cannabis ruderalis, whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin, whether crude or purified, extracted from any part of the plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the plant, its seeds, or resin. “Cannabis” also means the separated resin, whether crude or purified, obtained from cannabis. “Cannabis” does not include the mature stalks of the plant, fiber produced from the stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of the plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination. For the purpose of this division, “cannabis” does not mean “industrial hemp” as defined by Section 11018.5 of the Health and Safety Code.
MP means Monongahela Power Company, an Ohio corporation.
CMC means Comprehensive maintenance Contract (labour, spare and preventive maintenance)
Third Party Vendor means any person or entity that provides SaaS, third party software and/or related intellectual property. “Work” means any additional work the Customer requests Singtel to perform in relation to the Service.
DMA means Designated Market Area as defined by A.C. Nielsen Company based upon viewing patterns and used by the Investing in Television BIA Market Report 2014 (1st edition). DMAs are ranked according to the number of households therein and are used by broadcasters, advertisers, and advertising agencies to aid in evaluating television audience size and composition.
Nexus means that a partnership’s business activity is of such a degree that the state or foreign country has jurisdic- tion to impose an income tax or franchise tax measured by net income. Under Public Law 86-272, a state can’t impose an income tax or franchise tax based on net income on a partnership selling tangible personal property if the part- nership’s only activity in the state is the solicitation of or- ders, which orders are approved outside the state and are filled by delivery from a point outside the state.
Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.
GXP means any Point of Connection on the Grid:
CSDCC means the China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. “CSRC” means the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
Elan means Elan Corp and its Affiliates.
NPS means nominal pipe size.
MDV means medium-duty vehicles.
