Peer Group Index definition

Peer Group Index means, initially, a combination of The Morgan Stanley Dean Witter REIT Index and the Russell 1000 Financial Index, with each such index being accorded equal weighting. The Board may select one or more different indices to serve as the Peer Group Index from time to time if the Board determines that the applicable indices no longer serve as an appropriate comparison for the Company, or if they are not maintained throughout the Measurement Period or for any other reason the Board may determine.
Peer Group Index means the Dow Xxxxx U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Index, as measured by the performance of the iShares Dow Xxxxx U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Index Fund (NYSEARCA: IEO). As soon as administratively practicable following each Measurement Date (but in no event later than the 15th day of the third calendar month following the calendar month in which the Measurement Date occurs), the Committee shall certify whether and to the extent that the Performance Objective has been achieved and will determine, in the manner described above, the number of Performance Units, if any, determined to be earned on such Measurement Date pursuant to the table in Appendix A. The number of Performance Units, if any, determined by the Committee pursuant to the preceding provisions of this Section 3 shall be referred to as the “Earned Performance Units.”
Peer Group Index means the TSR of the Peer Group.

  • Peer Group means the group of companies, as more particularly set forth on attached Exhibit A, against which the Relative Total Shareholder Return of the Company is measured over the Incentive Period.

  • Final Index Level : means the Closing Level of the FTSE 100 Index on the Investment End Date.

  • TSR means total shareholder return.

  • Index Group means the NASDAQ Bank Index.

  • Initial Index Level means the closing level of the FTSE 100 on the Start Date.

  • SOFR IndexEnd means the SOFR Index value on the date that is the number of U.S. Government Securities Business Days specified in the relevant Final Terms preceding the Interest Payment Date relating to such Interest Accrual Period (or in the final Interest Accrual Period, the Maturity Date).

  • SOFR Compounded Index means the Compounded SOFR rate as published at 15:00 (New York time) by Federal Reserve Bank of New York (or a successor administrator of SOFR) on the website of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or any successor source; and

  • Inflation Index means each inflation index specified in the applicable Final Terms and related expressions shall be construed accordingly.

  • Peer Companies means the companies included in the Xxxxxxx 2000 on December 31, 2017. In the event of a merger, acquisition or business combination transaction of a Peer Company with or by another Peer Company, the surviving entity shall remain a Peer Company. In the event of a merger of a Peer Company with an entity that is not a Peer Company, or the acquisition or business combination transaction by or with a Peer Company, or with an entity that is not a Peer Company, in each case, where the Peer Company is the surviving entity and remains publicly traded, the surviving entity shall remain a Peer Company. In the event of a merger or acquisition or business combination transaction of a Peer Company by or with an entity that is not a Peer Company, a “going private” transaction involving a Peer Company or the liquidation of a Peer Company, where the Peer Company is not the surviving entity or is otherwise no longer publicly traded, the company shall no longer be a Peer Company. In the event of a bankruptcy of a Peer Company, such company shall remain a Peer Company.

  • SOFR IndexStart means the SOFR Index value on the date that is the number of U.S. Government Securities Business Days specified in the relevant Final Terms preceding the first date of the relevant Interest Accrual Period (a "SOFR Index Determination Date").

  • Comparison Group means a sample group of organisations providing Comparable supply of Services which consists of organisations which are either of similar size to the Supplier or which are similarly structured in terms of their business and their service offering so as to be fair comparators with the Supplier or which, are best practice organisations;

  • Base Index Figure means (subject to Condition 4.3(i)) the base index figure as specified in the relevant Final Terms;

  • Company TSR means, for any Performance Period, the Company’s TSR for such Performance Period.

  • Relative TSR means the Company’s TSR compared to the Peer Companies TSR on a relative basis. The Company and the Peer Companies from highest to lowest according to their respective TSRs will determine Relative TSR. After this ranking, the percentile performance of the Company relative to the Peer Companies will be determined using the Percentrank formula in Microsoft Excel.
