Permitted Substances definition

Permitted Substances means (a) immaterial quantities of Hazardous Wastes resulting from the normal use of cleaning materials, pesticides and herbicides on the Leased Real Property in conformance with all applicable Environmental Laws and (b) Hazardous Wastes stored or employed by the Company or the US Subsidiary in the ordinary course of the Company’s or the US Subsidiary’s business on the Leased Real Property, which Hazardous Wastes are stored, employed and disposed of in conformance with all applicable Environmental Laws.
Permitted Substances as used in this Mortgage means Hazardous Materials of the types and in the quantities customarily used in the maintenance and operation of commercial buildings similar to the Mortgaged Property, so long as such Hazardous Materials are stored, used and disposed of in accordance with all applicable laws.
Permitted Substances means, in respect of each Occupant, those substances necessary to the carrying on of the Normal Business of such Occupant; "Premises" means all lands and premises owned or occupied by the Company from time to time (including without limitation the lands and premises referred to in Schedule "A" hereto);

More Definitions of Permitted Substances

Permitted Substances means substances which are necessary to carry on the Normal Business of the Company and which are handled and stored in compliance with all applicable laws, including Environmental Laws;
Permitted Substances means common cleaning, maintenance, repair, painting materials, and other commercial or retail products properly stored and handled in normal, commercially reasonable quantities and consumed or used in the ordinary course of use and operation of the Property.

Permitted Substances means materials and supplies which might otherwise be defined as hazardous wastes or hazardous substances but which are used in limited quantities in the normal course of Grantor's business and in compliance with laws, including without limitation pesticides, cleaning solvents, vehicle fuels, and office supplies. The representations and warranties contained herein are based on Grantor's actual knowledge as of the date of this Agreement. Grantor hereby (1) releases and waives any future claims against Lender for indemnity or contribution in the event Grantor becomes liable for cleanup or other costs under any such laws, and (2) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Lender against any and all claims and losses resulting from a breach of this provision of this Agreement.
