Person Hours definition

Person Hours means the hours spent by the Supplier Personnel properly working on the provision of the Services including time spent travelling (other than to and from the Supplier's offices, or to and from the Sites) but excluding lunch breaks;
Person Hours means hours worked in the reporting period. Overtime and extended working hours are included. For partial days worked (e.g. a design engineer spreading time across different Operators or Primary Contractors, those hours involved in Operator activity are to be counted. To convert Full Time Equivalent (FTE) headcount to person-hours assume one (1) time equivalent (FTE) position orks 2,080 hour per year and a rotator position works 1040 hours per year regardless of their days on/off rotation.
Person Hours means hours spent by any person doing work in relation to the Projects. “Projects” means the construction projects described in PART III.

Examples of Person Hours in a sentence

  • On receipt of an Additional Services Request unilaterally issued by the Purchaser, and in consideration of payments under Clause 15.2 (Additional Option Charges), the Contractor will devote the number of Person Days or Person Hours (as appropriate) set out in the Additional Services Request towards the task(s) set out in the Additional Services Request on dates to be agreed (such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed).

  • At the request of the Purchaser, the Contractor shall provide input into the Purchaser's preparation of Additional Services Requests, including a reasonable estimate of the number of Person Days and/or Person Hours required to complete the task to be set out in the Additional Services Request.

  • Training hour means at least 50 minutes of actual learning, including, but not limited to, time devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group activities, demonstrations, evaluations, and hands-on experience.

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits. Base hours shall also include hours a staff member would have worked except for having been in military service. Base hours do not include hours for when a staff member receives other types of compensation, such as administrative, personal leave, vacation, or sick leave.
