Personal Information Handling Business Operator definition

Personal Information Handling Business Operator in this agreement means a person providing the Personal Information Database etc. for use in business.
Personal Information Handling Business Operator means a business operator handling a personal information database for its business (“Business Operator”). (5) “Anonymously Processed Information” means information processed so that such information can no longer be used to identify a specific individual with the necessary safeguards prescribed by the APPI being taken to make it impossible to retrieve personal information.
Personal Information Handling Business Operator means a person providing a personal information database, etc. for use in business; however, excluding a central government organization, a local government, an incorporated administrative agency, etc. as prescribed in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information Held by Incorporated Administrative Agencies (Act No. 59 of 2003), and a local incorporated administrative agency as prescribed in the Local Incorporated Administrative Agencies Act (Act No. 118 of 2003).

  • This, however, shall not apply to cases where the University was entrusted with the handling of all or part of the said Personal Data by another Personal Information Handling Business Operator or an Administrative Organ, etc., and the University has notified the occurrence of such incident to such another Personal Information Handling Business Operator or such Administrative Organ, etc.

  • Even a non-juridical association (voluntary organization) or an individual with no capacity of right shall be deemed to be a Personal Information Handling Business Operator if the association or individual provides a Personal Information Database, etc.

  • This, however, shall not apply in cases where the Personal Data to be provided to a third party is Special Care-required Personal Information or has been acquired in violation of the provisions of Article 6, paragraph 1 or where the said Personal Data has been provided by another Personal Information Handling Business Operator pursuant to the provisions of this paragraph (including its wholly or partially duplicated or processed one).

  • Student Personal Information means information collected through a school service that personally identifies an individual student or other information collected and maintained about an individual student that is linked to information that identifies an individual student, as identified by Washington Compact Provision 28A.604.010. For purposes of this DPA, Student Personal Information is referred to as Student Data.

  • Transaction Personal Information has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 9.1;

  • Highly restricted personal information means an individual’s photograph or image, social security number, digitized signature, and medical and disability information.

  • Customer information systems means any methods used to access, collect, store, use, transmit, protect, or dispose of customer in- formation.

  • Special Personal Information means Personal Information as referred to in Section 26 of POPIA

  • Confidential personal information means a party’s or a party’s child’s Social Security number; date of birth; driver license number; any other names used, now or in the past; and employer’s name, address, and telephone number.

  • Active business operations means all business operations that are not inactive business operations.

  • Information Service Traffic means Local Traffic or IntraLATA Toll Traffic which originates on a Telephone Exchange Service line and which is addressed to an information service provided over a Party's information services platform (e.g., 976).

  • Billing information means any data that enables any person to access a customer’s or donor’s account, such as a credit card, checking, savings, share or similar account, utility bill, mort- gage loan account, or debit card.

  • Client Information means any data, information, software or other materials that you provide to Red Hat under the Agreement.

  • Business operations means engaging in commerce in any form, including by acquiring, developing, maintaining, owning, selling, possessing, leasing, or operating equipment, facilities, personnel, products, services, personal property, real property, or any other apparatus of business or commerce.

  • Customer Personal Data means the personal data contained within the Customer Data.

  • Staffing Information in relation to all persons identified on the Supplier's Provisional Supplier Personnel List or Supplier's Final Supplier Personnel List, as the case may be, such information as the Department may reasonably request (subject to all applicable provisions of the DPA), but including in an anonymised format: (a) their ages, dates of commencement of employment or engagement, gender and place of work; (b) details of whether they are employed, self employed contractors or consultants, agency workers or otherwise; (c) the identity of the employer or relevant contracting Party; (d) their relevant contractual notice periods and any other terms relating to termination of employment, including redundancy procedures, and redundancy payments; (e) their wages, salaries, bonuses and profit sharing arrangements as applicable; (f) details of other employment-related benefits, including (without limitation) medical insurance, life assurance, pension or other retirement benefit schemes, share option schemes and company car schedules applicable to them; (g) any outstanding or potential contractual, statutory or other liabilities in respect of such individuals (including in respect of personal injury claims); (h) details of any such individuals on long term sickness absence, parental leave, maternity leave or other authorised long term absence; (i) copies of all relevant documents and materials relating to such information, including copies of relevant Agreements of employment (or relevant standard Agreements if applied generally in respect of such employees); and (j) any other “employee liability information” as such term is defined in regulation 11 of the Employment Regulations;

  • Inactive business operations means the mere continued holding or renewal of rights to property previously operated for the purpose of generating revenues but not presently deployed for such purpose.

  • Client Personal Data means any personal data provided to us by you, or on your behalf, for the purpose of providing our services to you, pursuant to our engagement letter with you;

  • Customer Information means any information contained on a customer’s application or other form and all nonpublic personal information about a customer that a Party receives from the other Party. Customer Information shall include, but not be limited to, name, address, telephone number, social security number, health information, and personal financial information (which may include a Masterworks user account number).
