Personnel Security means the part of security concerned with procedures designed to assess whether an individual can, taking into account his loyalty, trustworthiness and reliability, be authorized to have initial and continued access to classified information and controlled areas without constituting an unacceptable risk to security;

Personnel Security means the procedures which have been laid down for screening candidacies of the persons applying for authorisations to handle or familiarise with classified information or for security clearances and which allow to decide whether a person may be entrusted with classified information as well as the control and periodic instruction of a person holding an authorisation to handle or familiarise with classified information or a security clearance on requirements for the protection of classified information and statutory liability for violation thereof.

  • Continuing education means planned, organized learning acts designed to maintain, improve, or expand a licensee’s knowledge and skills in order for the licensee to develop new knowledge and skills relevant to the enhancement of practice, education, or theory development to improve the safety and welfare of the public.
