Pilot and Special Program definition

Pilot and Special Program means each Sub-project under Part 1(b) of the Project, which will provide planning, training and investment related to defined activities of particular local interest agreed in writing between the Recipient and the World Bank, which may include: crisis response including responding to natural disasters; activities related to millennium development goal indicators for poverty, reduction, education and health (“PNPM Generasi”); support for community investments in environmental and natural resource management; and support local government community development projects run in tandem with the Project (“PNPM Integrasi/P2SPP”); and supporting community activities in national border areas, in each case subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Project Manual and any applicable Supplemental Manual.
Pilot and Special Program means each Sub-project under Part 1(b) of the Project, which will provide planning, training and investment related to defined activities of particular interest agreed in writing between the Borrower, through PMD, and the Bank, which may include, but is not limited to: crisis response, including responding to natural disasters; activities related to millennium development goal indicators for poverty reduction, education and health; support for community investments in environmental and natural resource management; supporting community activities in national border areas; supporting Aceh- specific programs; and supporting Papua and West Papua activities in nutrition and food security, education, primary health care, village infrastructure, and economic livelihoods, in each case subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Operations Manual and any applicable Supplemental Manual.

Related to Pilot and Special Program

  • Pilot project means an innovative environmental project that covers one or more designated facilities, designed and implemented in the form of an EMSA. (See Section 52.3 of the Act.)

  • Project Architect means the professional architect or engineer employed by the Owner as architect or engineer of record for the Project and its consultants.

  • Approved Project means the Scheme application of the Applicant approved by the CIC.

  • Construction Contractor means a person who undertakes to or offers to undertake to, or purports to have the capacity to undertake to, or submits a bid to, or does himself or by or through others, construct, alter, repair, add to, subtract from, improve, move, wreck, or demolish any building, highway, road, railroad, excavation, or other structure, project, development, or improvement to real property, or to do any part thereof. "Construction contractor" includes subcontractors, specialty contractors, prime contractors, and any person receiving consideration for the general supervision and/or coordination of such a construction project except for remediation contracting. This definition shall govern without regard to whether or not the construction contractor is acting in fulfillment of a contract.

  • Expansion Project has the meaning set forth in Section IV.3.a of this Agreement.

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Improvement Plan means the plan required by the Authority from the Supplier which shall detail how the Supplier will improve the provision of the Goods and/or Services pursuant to Clause 29.1.1 (Authority Remedies);

  • Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.

  • construction site means a workplace where construction work is being performed;

  • Commercial Premises Means a place of trade or premises operated for financial gain, including but not limited to, a retirement village or a block of flats that has a common facility; a place of trade where the manufacture and production of products or produce takes place; a site where renovation, restoration and refurbishment work as described in Appendix B takes place.

  • Operating Plan means a plan adopted or amended under this section for the development, redevelopment, maintenance, operation and promotion of a business improvement district, including all of the following:

  • Condominium Project Real estate including the separate ownership in fee, or on a satisfactory leasehold estate, of a particular residential unit with an indivisible interest in the real estate designated for common ownership strictly by unit owners.

  • The Project Plan means the document to be developed by the Supplier and approved by the Purchaser, pursuant to GCC Clause 19, based on the requirements of the Contract and the Preliminary Project Plan included in the Supplier’s bid. The “Agreed and Finalized Project Plan” is the version of the Project Plan approved by the Purchaser, in accordance with GCC Clause 19.2. Should the Project Plan conflict with the Contract in any way, the relevant provisions of the Contract, including any amendments, shall prevail.

  • Renovation means altering a facility or one or more facility components in any way, including the stripping or removal of RACM from a facility component. Operations in which load-supporting structural members are wrecked or taken out are demolitions.

  • New Project means (a) each facility which is either a new facility, branch or office or an expansion, relocation, remodeling or substantial modernization of an existing facility, branch or office owned by the Borrower or its Subsidiaries which in fact commences operations and (b) each creation (in one or a series of related transactions) of a business unit to the extent such business unit commences operations or each expansion (in one or a series of related transactions) of business into a new market.

  • Construction Management Agreement means the Construction Management Agreement, dated as of the date of the Common Agreement, between Construction Manager and the Project Company.

  • Construction Budget means the fully-budgeted costs for the acquisition and construction of a given parcel of real property (including, without limitation, the cost of acquiring such parcel of real property, reserves for construction interest and operating deficits, tenant improvements, leasing commissions, and infrastructure costs) as reasonably determined by the Parent in good faith.

  • Construction Services means either of the following for construction-manager-at-risk, design-build and job-order-contracting project delivery methods:
