Planning and Zoning definition

Planning and Zoning means the Planning and Zoning Department of the Office of Community Development.
Planning and Zoning means the Planning and Zoning Commission, a volunteer citizen advisory board of the City of Woodcreek that has been granted specific land use and development regulatory authority pursuant to City ordinances and state statutes.

  • Nothing in this Contract shall be construed to limit the exercise by the Board of Supervisors of the police power or the adoption or re-adoption or amendment of any zoning ordinance or land use ordinance, regulation or restriction pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law (Sections 65000, et seq., Government Code) or otherwise.

  • The Grantor may at any time hereafter request in writing to the Department 13 of Planning and Zoning a two (2) acre or less lot exclusion for the exclusive residential use of a 14 Child (as defined in the Act).

  • Such request (a) must be made by letter 9 provided to the Department of Planning and Zoning and (b) shall be subject to review and 10 recommendation of the Agricultural Land Preservation Advisory Board.

  • We operate in a residential area under a special use permit from the Town of Darien Planning and Zoning Commission.

  • In addition, 35 the use and occupancy permit must be in the name of the Grantor; and the Owner’s Lot may not 36 be sold or transferred for a period of five (5) years from the date of issuance of the use and 37 occupancy permit except in the event of the death or legal incompetence of the Grantor or if the 38 lot is part of bankruptcy proceedings; or with approval of the Department of Planning and Zoning, 1 subject to review and recommendation of the Agricultural Land Preservation Advisory Board.

  • A description and/or diagram of the easement area must be approved by the Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning and Zoning, and then attached to this document.

  • A Planning and Zoning Committee: to ensure agreed planning and zoning regulations in areas designated in Annex X.
