Polestar Technology definition

Polestar Technology means technology that does not exist on any other vehicle than Polestar Vehicle and which shall be provided by Volvo Cars and purchased as a service by Polestar or assigned to Polestar under this Agreement, and which is specified as Polestar Technology (Category 1 and for the avoidance of doubt Category 3B. Category 3B however not limited to existence in Polestar Vehicle) in Appendix 1 to this Agreement.
Polestar Technology shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the Framework Assignment and License Agreement.
Polestar Technology means the Volvo IP that shall be assigned to Polestar under an executed Car Model Assignment and License Agreement, and which is:

  • At the supplier selection for Polestar Technology components, Polestar is responsible to participate in the SCC and is regarded as one of the Stakeholders and will have a voice in the SCC.

  • Polestar is invited to the established functional forums and meetings as required and where Polestar will be informed of the overall progress of the sourcing of Polestar Technology including potential deviations from targets.

  • Such changes, maintenance and development consist of Quality Changes and Ratio Changes having an effect on Volvo Technology, PS Unique Volvo Technology, Volvo Supplier License Technology, Common Polestar Technology, Polestar Technology or Polestar Supplier License Technology and by which such changes, maintenance and development results shall become the CM Results.


More Definitions of Polestar Technology

Polestar Technology means CM Results which are specified as category 1 in Appendix 6 in a specific Change Management activity executed in accordance with the terms of this CM Agreement, and shall include but not be limited to access to drawings, specifications, calculations, protocols (including test protocols), software (Object Code and Source Code), methods, processes and any similar deliverables needed for Polestar to make use of the licensed technology. “Polestar Vehicle” shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Background A. to the Main Document. “PS Unique Volvo Technology” means such Volvo Technology which is specified as category 2 in Appendix 6) in a specific Change Management activity executed in accordance with the terms of this CM Agreement.

Related to Polestar Technology

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents, the Licensor Know-How and the Licensor Materials.

  • Company Technology means all Technology owned or purported to be owned by the Company.

  • Joint Technology means the Joint Know-How and the Joint Patent Rights.

  • Proprietary Technology means the technical innovations that are unique and

  • Licensee Technology means the Licensee Know-How and Licensee Patents.

  • New Technology means any invention, discovery, improvement, or innovation that was not available to the District on the effective date of the contract, whether or not patentable, including, but not limited to, new processes, emerging technology, machines, and improvements to or new applications of existing processes, machines, manufactures and software. Also included are new computer programs, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing computer programs, whether or not copyrightable and any new process, machine, including software, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing processes, machines, manufactures and software.

  • Technology means any and all technical information, specifications, drawings, records, documentation, works of authorship or other creative works, ideas, algorithms, models, databases, ciphers/keys, systems architecture, network protocols, research, development, and manufacturing information, software (including object code and source code), application programming interfaces (APIs), innovations, mask works, logic designs, circuit designs, technical data, processes and methods.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Know-How and Licensed Patents.

  • Third Party Technology means all Intellectual Property and products owned by third parties and licensed pursuant to Third Party Licenses.

  • Assistive technology means the devices, aids, controls, supplies, or appliances described in OAR 411-300-0150 that are purchased to provide support for a child and replace the need for direct interventions to enable self-direction of care and maximize independence of the child.

  • Licensed Know-How means all Know-How that (a) is Controlled by Pfizer or any of its Affiliates as of the effective date of the Pfizer-MPP Agreement, (b) directly relates to the use of the Compound, Product or Licensed Product in the Field, and (c) is not in the public domain or otherwise generally known. For the avoidance of doubt, (i) Licensed Know-How shall not include any Know-How to the extent solely and directly related to any other Pfizer compound or to the extent related to the use of the Compound, Product or Licensed Product outside the Field and (ii) Licensed Know-How includes only that Know-How, designated by Pfizer in its sole discretion, necessary for the manufacture, registration and commercialization of the Compound and/or Licensed Product for use in the Field.   • Licensed IP means the Intellectual Property owned by any person other than the Corporation and to which the Corporation has a license which has not expired or been terminated;
