POSITIVE CONTACT definition

POSITIVE CONTACT means an interactive communication made either in person or via phone conversation (not phone message left) by a Crew Scheduler or a member of management. Positive contact may also be achieved via a Flight Attendant's Company e-mail through a message sent. However, a Flight Attendant will not be accountable for notifications of scheduling changes to her/his current pairing or for future extensions/ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ assignments which are sent after the appropriate check out time as defined in paragraph 2.Q.,or after she/he has completed the daily e-mail check requirement.
POSITIVE CONTACT means a manager or supervisor speaks directly with the employee. A Controller will receive an additional ½ time pay premium: (1) when his schedule is adjusted by more than two hours with his consent, for all hours that are more than two hours outside his normal shift times and (2) when his schedule is changed a third or subsequent time in a quarter with his consent, for all hours that fall outside his normal shift times. There is no pyramiding of overtime. A Controller-initiated change is not subject to this subsection.

  • Direct contact means the contact of persons with high voltage live parts.

  • Primary Contact means the individual a Proponent (that has submitted a Proposal), designates to represent the Proponent during the competitive process associated with this RFP. There can be only one (1) Primary Contact.

  • Close contact means being within six feet of a COVID-19 case for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or greater in any 24-hour period within or overlapping with the “high-risk exposure period” defined by this section. This definition applies regardless of the use of face coverings.
