Presented Check definition

Presented Check means a check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to Bank for payment through the check collection system or directly with Bank as ‘over-the-counter’ items.
Presented Check. A check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to Extraco for payment.
Presented Check means a check drawn on an Account and presented to Bank for payment through the check collection system, including without limitation “on-us” checks deposited to another account maintained at Bank. Checks presented to Bank for payment by the payee in person, or by any means other than the check collection system, are not Presented Checks for purposes of this definition.

Examples of Presented Check in a sentence

  • The parties intend that the Issue File transmitted to the Bank constitutes the signature of the Customer for purposes of determining whether a Presented Check is properly payable.

  • Any Presented Check that is damaged, lost or destroyed (“Damaged Checks”) so as to be rejected by automated processing systems during processing will not be covered by this Agreement.

  • Bank shall compare each Presented Check by check number and amount against each Check Issue Report received by Bank.

  • The Customer agrees that the Bank exercises ordinary care whenever it rightfully pays or returns a Presented Check consistent with the provisions of the Agreement.

  • If the Bank dishonors a Presented Check that is listed on the Positive Pay Return Items File, the dishonor shall be rightful, and the Customer waives any right he or she may have to assert that the dishonor was wrongful under Section 4- 402.


More Definitions of Presented Check

Presented Check means a check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to Bank for payment. The Customer expressly warrants that all Presented Checks that match the information in the Check Issue Report are properly payable.
Presented Check means a Customer Check drawn on the Positive Pay Account and presented to the Bank for payment through the check collection system. A Customer Check presented to the Bank by the payee directly (for example, over-the-counter) or otherwise outside of the Bank’s automated check collection system will not be a Presented Check and will not be governed by Schedule D to this CMTS Agreement.
