Prior Plan Participant definition

Prior Plan Participant means an individual who was a participant in the Prior Plan immediately prior to the Effective Date and who became an Eligible Employee on the Effective Date.
Prior Plan Participant means those individuals for whom an account balance is maintained under the Prior Plan as of the Prior Plan Merger Date.
Prior Plan Participant means a Participant who was a participant under a Prior Plan, or in the event of his death, his Beneficiary.

Examples of Prior Plan Participant in a sentence

  • Each Prior Plan Participant shall receive a credit to such Participant’s Deferred Compensation Account at the beginning of January 1, 2004 equal to the sum of the amounts credited to such Participant’s accounts under each Prior Plan on December 31, 2003 and such amounts shall be thereafter adjusted in accordance with Section 4.2 and administered in accordance with the terms of this Plan.

  • In the case of a Prior Plan Participant (as defined in Section 2.1), “Deferred Compensation Agreement” shall mean a document (or documents) as provided from time to time from the Company or Committee pursuant to which such Participant elects to transfer his accrued benefit under each of the Prior Plans to this Plan and to look solely to this Plan in satisfaction of the Company’s obligation under this Plan and any Prior Plan.

  • Absent an election from the Prior Plan Participant, amounts transferred on behalf of a Prior Plan Participant from a Prior Plan pursuant to subsection (a) above shall be allocated among such Prior Plan Participant’s Accounts under this Plan in the same way that those amounts were allocated to such accounts under the Prior Plan.

  • Until such time as the Prior Plan Participant makes a new salary deferral election as provided under Sections 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3, the salary deferral elections under the Prior Plan shall remain in effect and shall be deemed to be an election under this Plan.

  • Each Prior Plan Participant shall receive a credit to such Participant’s Deferred Compensation Account at the beginning of January 1, 2005 equal to the sum of the amounts credited to such Participant’s accounts under each Prior Plan on December 31, 2004 and such amounts shall be thereafter adjusted in accordance with Section 4.2 and administered in accordance with the terms of this Plan.


More Definitions of Prior Plan Participant

Prior Plan Participant means any Employee who was a participant under the Prior Plan as of December 31, 2002.
Prior Plan Participant means an individual Participant who was participating in the Prior Plan as a participant immediately prior to May 1, 1989 and who became an Eligible Employee on May 1, 1989.
Prior Plan Participant means a Participant who was employed by United Agri Products, Inc. or an Affiliate thereof on November 23, 2003 and was eligible to participate in the Prior Plan on November 23, 2003.
Prior Plan Participant means a Participant (a) who terminated employment prior to January 1, 2008 and (b) whose benefit under the Plan as of December 31, 2008 is greater than $50,000.00 (on an Actuarial Equivalent basis) and has not been paid or commenced.
Prior Plan Participant means a Participant who made an election to defer under Section 5.3 of the Prior Plan.
Prior Plan Participant means any Employee who was a participant under the Prior Plan as of March 31, 1989.
