Privacy Program definition

Privacy Program means Service Provider’s comprehensive written privacy and information security program.
Privacy Program. A formal document that provides an overview of an organization’s privacy program, including a description of the structure of the privacy program, the resources dedicated to the privacy program, the role of the organization’s privacy official and other staff, the strategic goals and objectives of the Privacy Program, and the program management controls and common controls in place or planned for meeting applicable privacy requirements and managing privacy risks. Risk: a measure of the extent to which the County is threatened by a potential circumstance or event, Risk is typically a function of: (i) the adverse impacts that would arise if the circumstance or event occurs; and (ii) the likelihood of occurrence. Threat: any circumstance or event with the potential to adversely impact County operations (including mission, functions, image, or reputation), organizational assets, individuals, or other organizations through an Information System via unauthorized access, destruction, disclosure, modification of Information, and/or denial of service.

  • Health information means any information or data except age or gender, whether oral or recorded in any form or medium, created by or derived from a health care provider or the consumer that relates to:

  • Cardholder Information means any non-public, sensitive information about a Cardholder, including any combination of Cardholder name plus the Cardholder’s social security number, driver’s license or other identification number or credit or debit card number, or other bank account number.

  • User Information means User Compliance Information and User Financial Information.

  • Electronic Protected Health Information (EPHI) means Protected Health Information that is transmitted by electronic media or maintained in any medium described in the definition of electronic media at 45 CFR 160.103.

  • Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
