Private Career College definition

Private Career College means a postsecondary education Institution offering vocational programs that is registered under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Private Career College means premises used by private post secondary in- stitutions that enter into contracts with individual students to provide one or more vocational training programs for a fee and are licensed in accordance with that applicable Provincial Act but does not include a commercial school.

  • An Approved Institution that is a Private Career College is required to use an academic achievement test identified in the approval of the program by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges.

A family child care home does not include an individual providing babysitting services for another individual. As used in this subparagraph, "providing babysitting services" means caring for a child on behalf of the child's parent or guardian if the annual compensation for providing those services does not equal or exceed $600.00 or an amount that would according to the internal revenue code of 1986 obligate the child's parent or guardian to provide a form 1099-MISC to the individual for compensation paid during the calendar year for those services.

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.
