Professional Standard definition

Professional Standard means a professional standard issued by the Council under Article62 to provide standards to the Members in respect of (i) professional matters and/or (ii) how a particular type of actuarial work is to be conducted. Compliance with Professional Standards is mandatory. Non-compliance may lead to disciplinary proceedings under Articles 66 and 67.
Professional Standard means the standard of practice specified by the Institute of Actuaries of India by issue of guidance notes/Actuarial Practice Standard to its members.
Professional Standard is a high standard of cleanliness which would be expected from a competent cleaning contractor.

Professional Standard is defined in Article VII(a).
