Prosecution of Work is hereby amended to read as follows: The execution of this agreement shall constitute the Consultant's authority to proceed immediately with the performance of this contract. Performance of the services hereunder shall be completed within six (6) months following fiscal years ending June 30, 2024 and June 30, 2025 respectively provided, however, that if the performance is delayed by earthquake, flood, high water or other Act of God or by strike, lockout or similar labor disturbance ("Acts"), the time for the Consultant's performance of this contract shall be extended by a number of days equal to the number of days the Consultant has been delayed by such Acts. Prosecution of Work. The first sentence of the first paragraph is voided and replaced by the following: Begin work 120 calendar days after the authorization date to begin work. Do not begin work before or after this period unless authorized in writing by the Engineer. Special Provision to Item 506‌ Temporary Erosion, Sedimentation, and Environmental Controls For this project, Item 506, “Temporary Erosion, Sedimentation, and Environmental Controls,” of the Standard Specifications, is hereby amended with respect to the clauses cited below, and no other clauses or requirements of this Item are waived or changed hereby. Article 506.1., “Description,” is voided and replaced by the following: Install, maintain, and remove erosion, sedimentation, and environmental control measures to prevent or reduce the discharge of pollutants in accordance with the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) or as directed. Ensure the installation and maintenance of control measures is performed in accordance with the manufacturer's or designer's specifications. Erosion and sediment control devices must be selected from the “Erosion Control Approved Products” or “Sediment Control Approved Products” lists. Perform work in a manner to prevent degradation of receiving waters, facilitate project construction, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Article 506.3., “Qualifications, Training, and Employee Requirements,” is voided and not replaced. Section 506.4.1., “Contractor Responsibilities,” Section 506.4.2., “Implementation,” and Section 506.4.3., “General,” are voided and replaced by the following:

Related to Prosecution of Work

  • Prosecution or “Prosecute” means the filing, preparation, prosecution and maintenance of Patents, including any and all pre-grant proceedings before any patent authority, such as interferences.

  • Scope of Work means the description of Services and Deliverables specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • SOW means the document specifying, without limitation, the scope, objective, and time frame of the Work that Supplier will perform for Cisco.

  • Statement of Work means the description of activities performed in completing the Project, as specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Work Order means an individually negotiated document that is executed by both Parties and which authorizes a Project, if any, in an indefinite quantity Contract.

  • The Work Order means the order placed by the Purchaser on the Supplier signed by the Purchaser including all attachments and appendices thereto and all documents incorporated by reference therein. The Work order shall be deemed as "Contract" appearing in the document.

  • Development Application means the development application identified in Item 5 of Schedule 1 and includes all plans, reports models, photomontages, material boards (as amended supplemented) submitted to the consent authority before the determination of that Development Application.

  • Development Program means the implementation of the development plan.
