Public Buildings definition

Public Buildings means buildings owned by the State of Tennessee or any agency thereof, a political subdivision of the State of Tennessee, including but not necessarily limited to counties, cities, school districts and special districts, or the federal government or any agency thereof;
Public Buildings means hospitals, courts, military bases or training schools for the defence and security forces, prisons, office buildings, educational institutions and universities. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that buildings that are used for residential purposes or for industry will not be considered as “Public Buildings” in this regard.
Public Buildings means those buildings owned or leased by the Franchise Authority for government administrative purposes, and shall not include buildings owned by Franchise Authority but leased to third parties or buildings such as storage facilities at which government employees are not regularly stationed.

More Definitions of Public Buildings

Public Buildings means the Township Building, police stations, fire companies, public works buildings, and water and sewer authorities. Public Buildings shall not include buildings owned by the Township but leased to third parties, or buildings, such as storage facilities, at which government employees are not regularly stationed, or to facilities used by a private service provider, such as a private ambulance company.
