Purchased Hospice Services means those Hospice Services specified in Exhibit A that are not core services under the Medicare Conditions of Participation for Hospice Care and that Hospice has elected to contract with the LTC Facility to provide.

Purchased Hospice Services means those services that Hospice has contracted with Nursing Facility to provide which are covered by the Hospice, required under the Plan of Care, and which are not otherwise provided by Nursing Facility as part of its Nursing Facility Room and Board Services. Purchased Hospice Services may include, without limitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, certain durable medical equipment and supplies, and certain drugs and biological. Purchased Hospice Services do not include those services and supplies that are an ordinary part of Nursing Facility Room and Board Services. In the event Hospice wishes to purchase and Nursing Facility wishes to provide purchased hospice services, such arrangement shall be in writing and signed by both Parties as either an amendment to this Agreement, or as a separate agreement.

Examples of Purchased Hospice Services in a sentence

  • Hospice may purchase from the LTC Facility Purchased Hospice Services as delineated in Exhibit A.

Related to Purchased Hospice Services

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.

  • Cemetery services means cremations, grave openings and closings, and installation of grave memorials.

  • Purchased Services means Services that You or Your Affiliate purchase under an Order Form, as distinguished from those provided pursuant to a free trial.

  • Voice Services means the telecommunications services to be provided to you under Part A and as specified in your Application.

  • Respite services means a temporary period of relief and support for individuals and their families provided in a variety of settings.
