RAR Attributes definition

RAR Attributes means, with respect to a Shown Unit, any and all resource adequacy attributes of the Shown Unit, as may be identified from time to time by the CPUC, CAISO, or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction over Compliance Obligations, that can be counted toward an LSE’s RAR.
RAR Attributes means, with respect to a Unit, any and all resource adequacy attributes, as they are identified from time to time by the Tariff, CPUC Decisions, LRA, or any Governmental Body having jurisdiction that can be counted toward RAR, exclusive of any LAR Attributes and FCR Attributes.
RAR Attributes means, with respect to a Unit, any and all RA Capacity and other resource adequacy attributes consistent with the operational limitations and physical characteristics of such Unit, exclusive of any LAR Attributes and FCR Attributes. To the extent the CPUC Decisions, CAISO, LRA or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction creates a new category or classification of RAR Attributes during the term of this Transaction, and a Unit can count toward such new category or classification of RA Attributes while operating consistent with the operational and physical characteristics of such Unit, any and all such new categories or classifications of RA Attributes shall be deemed to be part of the RAR Attributes of a Unit for the purpose of this Agreement. The above notwithstanding, to the extent the CPUC Decisions, CAISO, LRA or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction reduces the applicable NQC of a Unit, the NQC of a Unit may be reduced pursuant to Section 4.4 of this Confirmation.

Examples of RAR Attributes in a sentence

  • Seller retains the right to sell any RA Capacity from a Unit in excess of that Unit’s Contract Quantity, and any RAR Attributes or LAR Attributes not otherwise sold under this Confirmation.

  • The metal shouldonly be melted so that filling in of the next portion is possible.

  • The Product shall (a) include both RAR Attributes and LAR Attributes, and (b) be a Firm RA Product or a Contingent Firm RA Product, as selected below.

  • For clarity, in the aggregate all Units and Replacement Units must provide to Buyer RAR Attributes and LAR Attributes equivalent to those that were provided by the original Units and that were sold under this Confirmation.

  • For purposes of this Confirmation, Seller shall be deemed to have failed to provide Buyer with Designated RA Capacity in the full amount of the Contact Quantity if the Units and Replacement Units providing such Designated RA Capacity do not in the aggregate provide to Buyer the RAR Attributes and LAR Attributes contracted for pursuant to this Confirmation.

  • Seller shall provide Buyer with the Designated RA Capacity of RAR Attributes and, if applicable, LAR Attributes, from each Unit, as measured in MWs, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  • Seller shall provide Buyer with the Designated RA Capacity of RAR Attributes and, if applicable, LAR Attributes, from the Portfolio described on attached Exhibit D-1.

  • During the Delivery Period, Seller shall provide to Buyer pursuant to the terms of this Confirmation: (a) RAR Attributes and LAR Attributes, and (b) either a Firm RA Product or a Contingent Firm RA Product, as specified in either Section 3.2 or 3.3 below by checking the applicable provision ((a) and (b) shall be collectively referred to as the "Product").

  • Seller shall provide Buyer with the Designated RA Capacity of RAR Attributes and, if applicable, LAR Attributes from each Unit, as measured in MWs, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.


More Definitions of RAR Attributes

RAR Attributes means, with respect to a Shown Unit, any and all resource adequacy attributes of the Shown Unit, as may be identified from time to time by the CPUC, CAISO, or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction over Compliance Obligations, that can be counted toward an LSE’s RAR. [“San José Clean Energy” means the City of San José’s community choice aggregation program. The San José Community Energy Department administers and manages San José Clean Energy.]8
RAR Attributes means, with respect to a Unit, any and all resource adequacy attributes, as may be identified from time to time by the CPUC, LRA, or Governmental Body having jurisdiction that can be counted toward RAR, exclusive of any LAR Attributes.

Related to RAR Attributes

  • Green Attributes means any and all credits, benefits, emissions reductions, offsets, and allowances, howsoever entitled, attributable to the generation from the Project, and its avoided emission of pollutants. Green Attributes include but are not limited to Renewable Energy Credits, as well as: (1) any avoided emission of pollutants to the air, soil or water such as sulfur oxides (SOx), nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO) and other pollutants; (2) any avoided emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, sulfur hexafluoride and other greenhouse gases (GHGs) that have been determined by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or otherwise by law, to contribute to the actual or potential threat of altering the Earth’s climate by trapping heat in the atmosphere;1 (3) the reporting rights to these avoided emissions, such as Green Tag Reporting Rights. Green Tag Reporting Rights are the right of a Green Tag Purchaser to report the ownership of accumulated Green Tags in compliance with federal or state law, if applicable, and to a federal or state agency or any other party at the Green Tag Purchaser’s discretion, and include without limitation those Green Tag Reporting Rights accruing under Section 1605(b) of The Energy Policy Act of 1992 and any present or future federal, state, or local law, regulation or xxxx, and international or foreign emissions trading program. Green Tags are accumulated on a MWh basis and one Green Tag represents the Green Attributes associated with one (1) MWh of Energy. Green Attributes do not include (i) any energy, capacity, reliability or other power attributes from the Project, (ii) production tax credits associated with the construction or operation of the Project and other financial incentives in the form of credits, reductions, or allowances associated with the project that are applicable to a state or federal income taxation obligation, (iii) fuel-related subsidies or “tipping fees” that may be paid to Seller to accept certain fuels, or local subsidies received by the generator for the destruction of particular preexisting pollutants or the promotion of local environmental benefits, or (iv) emission reduction credits encumbered or used by the Project for compliance with local, state, or federal operating and/or air quality permits. If the Project is a biomass or biogas facility and Seller receives any tradable Green Attributes based on the greenhouse gas reduction benefits or other emission offsets attributed to its fuel usage, it shall provide Buyer with sufficient Green Attributes to ensure that there are zero net emissions associated with the production of electricity from the Project.

  • Capacity Attributes means any current or future defined characteristic, certificate, tag, credit, or ancillary service attribute, whether general in nature or specific as to the location or any other attribute of the Project, intended to value any aspect of the capacity of the Project to produce Energy or ancillary services, including, but not limited to, any accounting construct so that the full Contract Capacity of the Project may be counted toward a Resource Adequacy Requirement or any other measure by the CPUC, the CAISO, the FERC, or any other entity invested with the authority under federal or state Law, to require Buyer to procure, or to procure at Buyer’s expense, Resource Adequacy or other such products.

  • Tax Attributes means net operating losses, capital losses, tax credit carryovers, earnings and profits, foreign tax credit carryovers, overall foreign losses, previously taxed income, tax bases, separate limitation losses and any other losses, deductions, credits or other comparable items that could affect a Tax liability for a past or future taxable period.

  • Attribute means an actual or perceived personal characteristic including without limitation race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, socioeconomic status, academic status, disability, gender, gender identity, physical appearance, health condition, or sexual orientation;

  • Environmental Attributes means any emissions and renewable energy credits, energy conservation credits, benefits, offsets and allowances, emission reduction credits or words of similar import or regulatory effect (including emissions reduction credits or allowances under all applicable emission trading, compliance or budget programs, or any other federal, state or regional emission, renewable energy or energy conservation trading or budget program) that have been held, allocated to or acquired for the development, construction, ownership, lease, operation, use or maintenance of the Company as of: (i) the date of this Agreement; and (ii) future years for which allocations have been established and are in effect as of the date of this Agreement.

  • Tax Attribute means a net operating loss, net capital loss, unused investment credit, unused foreign tax credit, excess charitable contribution, general business credit or any other Tax Item that could reduce a Tax.

  • Combined Sewer means a sewer receiving both surface runoff and sewage.

  • NOLs means the Company’s net operating loss carryforwards.

  • Thermal energy means the thermal output produced by a combustion source used directly as part of a manufacturing process, industrial/commercial process, or heating/cooling application, but not used to produce electricity.

  • Gains means, with respect to any Party, an amount equal to the present value of the economic benefit to it, if any (exclusive of Costs), resulting from the termination of a Terminated Transaction, determined by it in a commercially reasonable manner.

  • Distributed Generation means generating plant equipment collectively used for generating electricity that is connected, or proposed to be connected, to the Network or a Customer's Installation, but does not include:

  • Output means the exposure rate, dose rate, or a quantity related in a known manner to these rates from a brachytherapy source or a teletherapy, remote afterloader, or gamma stereotactic radiosurgery unit for a specified set of exposure conditions.

  • Xxxxx Group means Xxxxx and any Affiliate of Xxxxx.

  • Tax Credits means any and all (a) investment tax credits, (b) production tax credits and (c) similar tax credits or grants under federal, state or local law relating to the construction, ownership or production of energy from the System.

  • Refiner means any person who owns, operates, or otherwise controls a refinery.

  • Xxxx Group means collectively Xxxx Capital Fund V, L.P., Xxxx Capital Fund V-B, L.P., BCIP Associates, BCIP Trust Associates, L.P. and Xxxxxxxx Street Partners.

  • Tax Asset means any net operating loss, net capital loss, investment tax credit, foreign tax credit, charitable deduction or any other credit or tax attribute that could be carried forward or back to reduce Taxes (including deductions and credits related to alternative minimum Taxes).

  • economic operator means any natural or legal person or public entity or group of such persons and/or entities, including any temporary association of undertakings, which offers the execution of works and/or a work, the supply of products or the provision of services on the market;
