Regional Mechanism definition

Regional Mechanism means African Regional Mechanisms for Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution;
Regional Mechanism means a mechanism [including procedures] for coordinating and assisting in an effective response to oil pollution incidents with functions as described in Article 13 of the Aktau Protocol including on technical cooperation in emergency cases, on the exchange of information on incidents and technical means for incident monitoring, and on optimizing the Caspian Sea Plan Concerning Regional Cooperation in Combating Oil Pollution in Cases of Emergency.]” The language use was strongly discussed for the most part of the meeting. The discussion circled around the question if and under which conditions also Russian may be used in the communication concerning the Plan. One proposal, as per below, was supported by four of the five Parties and is contained in the negotiated Plan as emerged from the meeting.
Regional Mechanism means mechanisms as envisaged under Article 16 of the Protocol Relating to the Establishment of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union;
