Regular Academic Appointment definition

Regular Academic Appointment means an appointment with Tenure or eligibility for Tenure, or an appointment with Continuing Appointment or eligibility for Continuing Appointment as defined in Article 20 Appointments;
Regular Academic Appointment means any one of the following appointments: • A tenured appointment or an appointment with eligibility for tenure as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor; • A tenured appointment as Teaching Professor; • Assistant Teaching Professor, holding or eligible for a continuing appointment; or • Associate Teaching Professor, holding or eligible for a continuing appointment;
Regular Academic Appointment means any one of the following appointments:

  • Initial appointment means appointment made otherwise than by promotion or transfer;

  • Probationary appointment means an appointment which is without continuing appointment status and which is neither a soft money nor non-renewable fixed length appointment. Probationary appointees may be removed subject to the provisions of this Article; Article 7,

  • Letter of Appointment means the written communication by SAICA to the Contractor recording the acceptance by SAICA of Contractor’s bid subject to the further terms and conditions to be itemized in the contract;
